The 'he has a soul' part makes me think it's not Cullen. He's not afraid of her for one, and she doesn't dislike him. She sounds nasty when she says that. It must be someone she really doesn't like. I think it might be Blackwall. He is afraid of her. He doesn't want to use any word but nice to describe her because he doesn't want to wake up with a dagger in his kidneys.
And she would have reason to dislike him.
After thinking about it Blackwall does makes the most sense. The other option could be Cole and all his attempts to help.

I'm not sure he would say 'her eyes stare into my soul' though. And she was pretty welcoming of him, considering he appears out of thin air if you side with the Templars.

I'm wondering if Leliana will stay on as the Left Hand with Cassadra as Divine or Cassandra as the Right with Leliana. Or if the positions will just disappear with the new Divine, if they were exclusive to Justinia.

Cassandra apparently offers to stay on as right hand in Leliana's epilogue, but Leliana turns her down. She seems to have plans for the position or something. Headcanons ahoy.
Don't think Leliana ever stays on as left hand for Cass or Viv, though. She seemed pretty done. Especially in a romanced import.
I put romanced Leliana on the throne, mostly 'cause I like the idea of the Divine dating a Paragon.
I've admittedly had similar thoughts for my canon female Dalish.

Well Cass says early on she's not all that enthused about the position anymore. I wonder if she'd make an exception for Leliana.
To me, it sounds (and sounded) like a crap job. I'll take Lord Seeker Cassandra Pentaghast instead. More important than a divine, as far as I'm concerned.

They're actual positions. The Right Hand is usually the Knight-Divine of the Templar Order, once even being the Divine's lover, if rumors are true.

I'm just wondering...when I talk to Leli and my character asks her about rolling out on missions with her, she explains why she can't. And then...I start noticing her birds EVERYwhere and it's always after that conversation. Weird thing, that. Idk if it was designed to be that way or not. I head canon that it's her method of reassurance. *kanye shrug*

Offtopic somewhat, but one thing I like about Leli in DAI is that her role makes sense no matter how you handled her in DAO. I like her romanced just as much as a world state where you killed her at the Sacred Ashes.. her attitude makes sense whatever you do. I probably prefer it though if your Warden is dead (romanced) or you killed her. That puts her in a dark place (but something I'd like my Inquisitors to help her out of).
Having a secret elven lover is starting to seem like a requirement of sorts to being important in Thedas, isn't it... :S
