Leliana this game kinda hits me as the type who'd just collapse face-first onto her desk when tired, wake up in a few hours, and get right back to whatever it was she was doing afterwards.

Leliana this game kinda hits me as the type who'd just collapse face-first onto her desk when tired, wake up in a few hours, and get right back to whatever it was she was doing afterwards.

Ok I finished my first playthrough and

Vivienne became Divine. Not exactly what I was hoping for. 

I did notice that the gossipers in Val Royeaux had changed their mind about the new Divine when I returned there after completing What Pride Had Wrought. A noblewoman said that Vivienne was gaining approval among the Grand Clerics and there would soon be a mage on the Sunburst Throne. I can't understand how that quest could affect the choice of the Divine, considering Vivienne wasn't even at the temple with me and disapproved of the decisions I made there; meanwhile the fact that she literally sat me down and told me to support Cassandra doesn't count at all.   

 

Now Cass wants to rebuild the Seekers on her own and Leliana gave me that line about staying in the rookery Inquisition forever.

The choice of Divine is apparently influenced by the big in-game decisions, like who sided with in the mage/Templar war and what you did with them. The outcome of Wicked eyes, Wicked Hearts also has an effect, or so I heard.

 

The gossip changed after What Pride Had Wrought? Interesting. It's my next mission and the gossip is talking about Vivienne right now. I'll see if it changes after.

Yes it changed, they were all about Cassandra before that quest (and so was I  ).

By the way I conscripted the mages, kept the Wardens and reunited Celene/Briala. At the temple of Mythal I did the ritual, allied with the elves and let Morrigan drink from the well.

Ah. Conscripting the mages and saving Celene do push in Vivienne's direction. The time I got Cassandra I disbanded the Templars and Put Gaspard (alone) on the throne. Cassandra is very much pro-Gaspard. I'm hoping to get Leliana this time (freed mages, reunited Celene and Briala)

This whole thing is still confusing me. Everyone talks about what dictates what, and I've still managed to push Cassandra to the position with support alone every time. First one had the mages as full allies and Celene, too.

Schmooples is gone. Now it's Schmooples II and Boulette. The second one is an interesting choice of name. It means either 'meatball' or 'blunder'. With Leliana it could really be either.
