I think she is doing it out of prudence. Not killing him results in hundreds of deaths. By breaking the Fade over Redcliffe how many innocents died do you think?

Which is more or less something Leliana understood way back in DA:O even if not hardened, if you remember her discussion with Alistair about how they had no choice but to let Lothering burn so they could address the greater threat at hand.

Now you're just being ridiculously pessimistic

Well as far there is no single decision that mattered either in da 2 or as far shown in dai from dao first boons were handwaved , Anders/justice ,leliana death ,now redcliff. Well in facty only behlen/harrowmont brought some change but we will still have to see how that lives up.

Necromancy is in DAI.

It is, but it isn't bringing the dead back to life (unless something big changed) it is tying a spirit to a corpse.

You really expected that nothing would attack Redcliffe again, let alone in a big situation like the breach and fade tears?

I wish they weren't talking so much during the demo. Leliana really kicked some ass, can't wait to play the game now to see what's going on with her. I'm finally going to pre-order.

Her lipgloss is made from the crushed bones and dreams of her enemies. Also, secrets.

 And butterfly wing dust.

She keeps it in a jar :P

You can't bring back the dead in DA. All you can do is tether a spirit to a corpse.

Pretty sure you could summon skeletons from dead bodies in Origins.

Well 2 demon attacks in 1 decade is rather out of place even in da universe.

It's not out of place when fade rifts are appearing all over the place.

That wasn't Leandra, just her corpse.

Plus if you'll recall the Necromancer was trying to resurrect his wife, not Hawke's mother.

Again, Leandra wasn't "alive." She was just a soul inhabiting a stitched-together corpse. Once Quentin died, the magic animating her "body" faded and her soul entered the Fade on its way to whatever final reward awaits the dead in DA.

And yeah, you can shove Fade spirits into corpses, but that just makes them monsters. They're not the people they once were.

Someone is causing them and it seems that mages caused not mention that ferelden is rather less revelant country so pretty much i don't see reason causing chaos in small village in rather unimportant country.

If that was not Leandra, then who the hell was talking to Hawke who was clearly Leandras spirit tied to the body.

I think Alexius did something to his son actually, he looks practically lifeless in the demo. Could be a mercy kill.

Yes, Dorian says: "That's Felix? *somethingsomething* What have you done?"

It could be like the scene in "The Walking Dead" where Michonne killed the Governor's daugther and he reacted very strongly despite her being just a Walker.

Well you clearly know Ferelden is unimportant along with Redcliffe in DAI, so you must know somehow.

Perhaps she wasn't dead yet, but preserved magically somehow.

Anyway the necromancers intention was to resurrect his dead wife, so him bringing back Hawke's mom wasn't his goal. If he had attempted to bring back the dead we would've been talking to a long dead women, not momma.
