Gotta give credit to the mod author, though. She actually looks like someone who's been messed up and experimented on for a whole year there, rather than someone who was just shoved in an aging machine like the vanilla version.

Yeah even with the final version of her for vanilla, she didn't seem tortured in appearance (save for her being raisin'd) I would expect her to be bloodied, To me it would just show how strong she is that even after a year of torture she never gave in. The retexture actually makes me focus on her eyes more.

I noticed that actually; even as a Blight-stricken zombie, her eyes are still pretty. Can't take that from her, Alexius. :S

I really like the icy 'stare into your soul' colour they have now. In DA:O the lighting made them green way too often.

I've run into something of a showstopper. The conversation/cutscene in which Leliana talks about her goals if she becomes Divine is not triggering for me this time around. Cassandra and Vivienne fire theirs just fine, but Leliana doesn't. Running the script claims that her personal missions is not complete and that, as a result, there's no softened/hardened flag, which would indeed explain while that cutscene won't trigger since it depends on her state of mind. Yet I DO get the post-Valence talk with my now-softened Leliana.

Has anyone else encountered this? Leaving Skyhold and returning does not help, and neither does replaying her mission or talking to her before talking to Cassandra and Vivienne. It's frustrating because I want her on the Sunburst Throne, in part so Cassandra can rebuild the Seekers and stay with the Inquisition.

I never had issues with this. I don't know if doing the HOF war table mission is necessary first to open up more dialog with Leliana or not. You might try to reload and do the Valence mission again so the flag gets set.

My Warden's dead, so no war table mission, but I have been able to do Leliana's Divine-related dialogues properly with the same world state before. It's driving me nuts right now, this was the last thing I wanted to take care of before plunging into the endgame and to the finish line. I could do the "Cassandra and I are candidates now" --> "message from Justinia" --> Valence --> "softened post-Valence talk" sequence over again from the last save, but I did try that before and it changed nothing.

 

Argh.

 

At least Cass is still in the lead with 9-8-8 so I won't end up with Vivienne if I can't fix this, and I was planning to do a "my perfect canon" replay at some point so it's not the end of the world if it doesn't work out this time. Still, it's very frustrating and bewildering.

That's weird... and I assume you are at the end of the game?

I can't think of anything that would be holding it up.

Ultimately you can always pick your fave Divine in the Keep for you canon save but it's nice to see the proper ending slide.

Sounds like an unfortunate glitch to me. If the script says her personal quest is not complete even though you've completed it, then that's likely the root of the problem.

 

I would imagine reloading a previous save should fix it, but I don't know how much playtime you're willing to sacrifice at this point. Either way, like J said above, it ultimately doesn't matter what you do in-game, as you'll be to fix everything in the Keep eventually.

Reloading my first post-Halamshiral savegame and giving it a whirl there revealed the same problem. No flag set, no "goals as Divine" talk, but nonetheless I get the "softened" post-Valence talk.

 

I guess I'm out of luck. Searching for a way to set the required flags manually turned up nothing. I guess I'll just take Cass as divine this time, thank the Maker it's not Vivienne, and try to avoid this glitch for my "perfect canon" replay.

I do wish the mechanic for selecting a Divine was a little more intuitive. It's all too easy for one to mess it up and not even know it. I've never heard of that issue before. It makes it all worse.
