I'm actually psyked for the grand return of our favorite bard, although I get the feeling that this might shoot down my theories of Leliana being Andrasta reborn...

I doubt she will be an LI but I don't think it'd be a problem if she wasn't romanced in Origins. Maybe she just finds love later in life. Most of my Wardens ended up with Zevran or Morrigan.

I like to think that if she wasn't romanced in DA:O she has something going on with the Divine...

Isn't the Divine like suppose to be forbidden?  Then again, Leliana did say "Forbidden fruit is the sweeter?"

If she's an ally of the inquisition - the voiceover kind of implied part of the inquisition - I wonder why she wouldn't be a companion?  From a story-line point of view, that is.  I mean, she's obviously got the skills, and the Inquisitor is presumably be doing really important stuff.

She obviously has the skills for combat, sure. However she's also a bard and is extremely close to the Divine. I would assume her knowledge and subtlety comes more in handy then her daggers.

Does the Divine take chastity vows? I always got the sense that was optional... and she certainly didn't take those vows when she was just a Reverand Mother... or practiced those vows.
