That's true for pretty much any armor. The padding, the straps, the buckles... Full plate armor is a pain. (used to do live action roleplay)
Yeah but in plate armor at least you can easily spot straps/buckles on the sides, and the chainmail underneath usually looks pretty loose on the body. Here instead it's very tight and stiff, I can't see how you can even put it on unless there's a hidden zipper somewhere.
