i think that slave markings part might be a catalyst because i did side eye it but had no idea where you were going with it. I'm chill doe.

Also, screwed around with the lighting tool a bit, discovered she has more freckles than I thought under certain lighting conditions.

I love the graphics in this game. Looking at those close-ups of Leliana... wow.

 

Though now we're getting so close that I kind of notice the eyes being - well, they're a bit flat or lifeless, I guess. Which is like a really weird thing to say because it's a videogame, and of course the eye is just going to be a texture, but coincidentally I've seen a lot of photos recently where one can see a person's face like really close up... so I kind of noticed the difference between that and this.

 

Though I could stare at these close-ups all day because damn...

I think that the games lighting plays a role in it. She frequently has a orange (fire) light shining in her face in most of her scenes that sort of masks the finer details.

 

For instance I find them less noticeable here with light in her face

Pretty cool, though. Face textures are much improved from the plastic-ey look of the past two games now, when we can find little things like this hidden away in them. :S

 

Also, dem hoodless shots. I see so few of them, she needs to take it off more.

That one is in the game's 'default,' plain old, flat white lighting state, so pretty much everything ends up looking pretty plain when it's applied. They look more vibrant when...well, everything else is more vibrant, I guess. 

 

They are pretty icey coloured this game, though. Which I do like.

Oh yeah it definitely depends on the lighting, and ultimately it doesn't really matter as it all feels pretty damn close to the real thing anyway. But just something I noticed.

 

Though they're still beautiful and gorgeous and I could just stare at them forev...er........ *starts drooling*

Might have more later. I'm in the Arbor Wilds, and I always wanted to try and get Morrigan and Leliana to strike a pose in combat like old times. That quest is the only opportunity I have. :S

One of my favorite scenes with Leliana is in the war room when we tell our advisors we are proud of them. The way she straightens up when we say that... Leli is feeling warm fuzzies there. You can tell.

I find that with this game, it's in the little things when it comes to Leliana - those are great character moments. When she straightens up like that in that scene, when she won't tell you a story, when she's not present during the Wicked Grace scene (don't go telling me good ole' Origins-Leliana wouldn't find the time, even with her being as busy as she is as spymaster, to play a round of Wicked Grace with the people she cares about).

 

They hit you in the feels.

I really wish she'd be at the Wicked Grace scene, if you manage to do that after you've softened her. (Is that possible?) I'm sure she'd have some stories to tell then. ;_;

She almost sounded proud. Like she was seeing us, one day, killing Flemeth, High Dragons, and Archdemons too. They grow up so fast. :')

I liked her delivery in the Lake Calenhad bunny one. Just the way she goes "Oh" in the "Oh, I think I see it" is so cute.

lol, looks like Leliana is about to shoot an arrow in the back of Morrigan's skull in the first two. Been waiting for something like those for a while, you had way more luck than I have. 

 

Like those last ones, they look so serious business in the very last one in particular it's kinda scary. :S

It's easy to get Wicked Grace after you soften Leliana. The Wicked Grace scene comes after Varric's personal quest. So, complete "Well, S**t" after you finish "The Left Hand of the Divine".

"Well, S**t" is unavailable until after "Here Lies the Abyss", and "The Left Hand of the Divine" is unavailable until after "Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts". Since most people do Adamant before Halamshiral, this could be accomplished simply by leaving "Well, S**t" in your journal until after you go to Valence. But you could do Halamshiral first, visit Valence, then go to Adamant and visit Valammar.

I'm pretty sure that Lels doesn't play cards either way. But I haven't checked. Something for the next PT.

Yeah took that from the concept art they had of her for Inquisition. Don't know why they didn't make it, she even has it in the ending slide where she (and Kieran.) are leaving Skyhold after the end.

Excellent work, as usual. Hope you do more of Leliana in the dress, bottom right corner. :3

Haha now those are great screenies! The ps4 is off by a second or so as well but you've definitely got me beat on best worst timing Also, what was it that she told Alistair about dying in the presence of beautiful women? Not saying she's right, but Natalie could have a worse view...

Leliana'll replace Dorian for chess if you just don't talk to him right away after siding with the templars, too, so you can actually still recruit him and get Leliana. Of course the first time I decided to cheat was the first time I had Leliana and Cullen says that she has the same cheats. Oops?

 

I do wonder what happens with Wicked Grace, since Vivienne, Solas and Leliana are the only ones that don't participate, though. Can't see the other two joining in to fill the empty spaces

Honestly, if Leliana was going to pull a Caboose on anyone, one would hope it would be Sera. Morrigan has at least shown some growth as a person.
