Honestly, if Leliana was going to pull a Caboose on anyone, one would hope it would be Sera. Morrigan has at least shown some growth as a person.

There's still some lingering dislike between Leliana and Morrigan though, even if we did find out Leliana cares about her a bit. :S

I picture Leliana rolling her eyes when she says that. I think their relationship has progressed to the point where their dislike has become 'annoyed tolerance'. They've been through enough together that they respect each other, but their personalities just don't gel. Respect without affection, or something like that.

It's gonna be bothering me that she doesn't have her freckles in DAO now. Could try modding it, but it'd never be all cute and subtle like it is in DAI.
As is, my Warden's gonna be confused when she returns to find Thedas bumped up in graphical quality while she was gone.

DAI has managed to ruin a lot of DAO Leliana's charm because of the graphics boost. Still, for all those adorable freckles there is not a wrinkle in sight. Lucky girl.

Yeah, both her and Cassandra are almost in their 40s and they don't look a day over 30. Mediaeval anti-aging products have come a long way.
I've been in the process of fiddling with the DAO toolset to see how close I can make DAO Leliana look like DAI Leliana for weeks now, but it's probably a futile effort. :S

I wouldn't say I dislike her vanilla DAO face, she just looks a bit too much like a generic NPC to me. A lot of DAO characters did. Hell, in Awakening, there was some Chantry sister hanging out around Vigil's Keep that I thought was Leliana and was wondering why I couldn't interact with her for quite a while. I just like everyone looking a bit more...individualized.
I like what I have right now. (slightly tweaked version of tmp's cg Leliana,) Stands out more, but still unmistakably 'Leliana.'

That was before multiple appearances in sequels though. Modded appearances really only work if the character is one game or that modder somehow manages to mod the character's appearance in every game so that it stays consistent.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I prefer less drastic changes, like the one I usually have on that I posted above. Can feasibly believe it's the same person through all three games with that one. Hell, I'd say she looks more consistent with DA2-Inquisition there.
I also don't like to mod characters like Loghain, Alistair, Zevran etc. who show up in pre-rendered cutscenes rather than just in-engine ones, because any mods you use can't be reflected in those and they're jarringly changing appearances throughout the game. Leliana was never in any pre-rendered cutscenes though, so she doesn't have that problem.
I know what you mean. I once had grey wardens of Ferelden installed in Origins only to see Duncan back to his lame default armor during rendered cutscens. Totally killed the immersion.
