My Warden's a rogue, but she was a terrible sneak. She was a high-dexterity tank rogue. How I miss those days.

Alright...something a bit more daring...balcony smex. They could go right outside the rookery, on the railing. Living on the edge...an accident waiting to happen. Surely that's a bit more exhilarating. :S

Oh man, in games that allow it I sneak everywhere. In TES and Fallout 3/NV I only got out of crouch mode to talk to people.

Me too, cause sneak-archery was probably the most deliciously overpowered thing ever in Skyrim. Nothing like creeping up in the corner, aiming, firing, and hearing that boink sound effect as you get 16× damage. Probably Leliana's Skyrim play style right there too...

In DA, though, I prefer dodging and stabbing in the thick of things. :S

Speaking of which, this was my go-to Skyrim bow by the time I hit level 78:

I loved archery in that game.

How is that even possible? How long did you take to make it?

Sneak/archery/alchemy is a beastly combo. Room full of bandits? No prob. Just use some frenzy poison and watch the mayhem! Detected? Chug an invisibility potion! So much fun.

In DA I find the stealth mechanics are not as much fun. The tactics are fun to play with but you can't really manage an ambush with the system. Which is a shame, because otherwise an all rogue party would have been awesome!

Exploiting the enchant/alchemy trick, were you? I so did that too. That's the only way I could get an armor I liked looks-wise to be fit for end game.

I need to go back to Skyrim at some point. I still haven't gotten very far with that run I started a while back, where I modded in my Warden and Leliana. Post-DAI headcanon activated.

Spoiler

It's not obsession it's passion! Yeah.

Bajeesus. I could never get anything that high in the vanilla game. Alchemy is lost on me. :S

I believe I had a Ring of Peerless Archery and a helmet that boosted archery (which I crafted and enchanted myself), but that's about it. My Archery tree was full, of course.

Dragons didn't last more than seconds with this bow. Legendary Dragons only lasted a little over a minute.

On what difficulty? That kind of damage is brutal even on master. I know I had some gauntlets that boosted my one handed enough to make the silver swords useful. Best looking weapon in the game and we can't upgrade it! Foul!

I like to imagine what Leliana would look like in stahlrim armor. The shade of blue is gorgeous.

Normal, IIRC. I never really changed the difficulty a lot in that game.

Also, I'd like to see Leliana wearing a Dark Brotherhood Armor. For science. tongue.png

Skin tight leather. Rowr! She would rock the Thieves' Guild armor too.

Too obvious. And it would hide her beautiful face. Boo!

It doesn't have to worn exactly as it meant to, right. I think if she wears the hood like her hood in DAI, it will make her hair color looks really pretty. And eyes.

It's also shadowy, so it kinda fits.

It does have a Batman feel to it. I like the Thieves' Guild (all versions) because there are so many pockets and belts. So many  hidden places to search. whistling.png

Oh Leliana. You are the mistress of subtlety.

sneak + ranged/precision weapons has always been the most overpowered way to play bethesda games. Even when I make a conscious decision to play a different style of character in Skyrim or Fallout 3/NV I always find myself falling back on sneaking & sniper rifles or bows. It's just too much fun!

Skyrim is still on my agenda. And undoubtedly the most modded RPG game i know. Even 4 years later , there are always over 10 new mods every day for it.

But Morrowind is sill getting modded too. But not Oblivion.

DAI is going to miss out as it is so hard to mod. Had Bioware kept to the original engine, DAI would of had heaps of mods added in no time. The few that are around dosen't do much i'm afraid.

But back to Leliana....i still love her :)

By the way , i have clocked over 2000+ hours from Skyrim...lol. DAI i am up to 367 hours and by no means finished with it.

Great minds must think alike, for in my most recent fanfiction piece, the characters end up mentioning something similar :)

Hawke gave a small chuckle. “I really had no idea Sister Leliana was handy in a fight. Or looked that damned good in leather,” she admitted, idly stroking a faint scar on her left palm. Sagramor blushed at her comment, having noticed that as well about the red-haired archer.

Thanks, I really appreciate it! Just be aware that the story has a fair amount blood/violence/crazy creature designs/eventual sex, all that sort of stuff in it. I also cross-post a good deal on my DeviantArt account, including some more Dragon Age short stories, so I hope you enjoy them all!

Funny 'cause it's true. Still, even without mods, there's a lot to like. The College of Winterhold, the Civil War plotline, the Companions, Serana, fighting Miraak...
