The encounter with Spirit!Justinia would have been incredibly hard for her.

 

Maybe it'd just throw Justinia's look-alikes at her... You know, looking dead...

 

I can only imagine. Just hearing about it hit her hard.

Maybe the Nightmare would throw a twisted Warden and Marjolaine at her just to add insult to injury.

 

Oh, that's just downright mean. I'd not stop at killing some Aspect of the damn thing.

Thinking about it, I might make it my plan to go back there eventually to kill the Nightmare for good. We'll see if a DLC comes up with that. Probably not.

Ugh, marathon bosses are awful! I'm still traumatized by Yiazmat from Final Fantasy 12. 50 million HP! The fastest anyone has beaten that thing is about one hour. On average it takes five. Nothing even close to that in DA games when it comes to frustrating bosses. Even the Harvester wasn't that bad.

Didn't Cole or someone else mention in Inquisition that Leliana constantly has nightmares?

 

And I don't even want to begin to imagine what the Nightmare would throw at her if she came along in the Fade...considering how emotionally unstable she is by then.

 

As far as best Origin goes, I've romanced her with both Cousland and Mahariel, but the latter is always the one I import in DA2 and the Keep. Leliana is the best fit for an elf warden, even more than Zevran. Sometimes I feel she prefers elves to humans.

 

As for specialization, anyone feel that Lels would be an Archer Assassin if she was a companion in DAI? I wouldn't mind really, Archer Assassin is super OP for Nightmare, she and my Spirit Warrior duel-wielding Warden stormed through Origins without a prob.

Corinne Kempa did a really solid job with the VA work for that scene, too. Along with the conversation after it, where she's trying to make sense of it all. She sounds so simultaneously confused and crushed as she basically begs you to tell her if she said anything else. ;_;

I can atest to this. I've just finished the Fade in my second playthrough (yes, the one with the female First to Keeper Istimaethoriel, and YES, the one I've had for over two months now) - brilliant work.

Well, the trick would be to just bring Sera and Thousand Cuts the damn thing to shreds.

 

Like, have a special boost to Thousand cuts, that would actually summon it ten times upon clicking. 550 hits on Tier 3 Focus.

 

That, or boost Mark of the Rift. PICK YOUR POISON, NIGHTMARE, FOR I AM YOUR VERY OWN NIGHTMARE.

As far as specs go. Bard whitout the glitter effects of course, along with Assassin without putting point into it, just for the bonus. I generally view Ranger as a waste of stamina but I did give it to Nathaniel in Awakening along with Shadow I think. Seemed to fit him.

Weekes is good, seems to have a lot in mind for the setting with all the stuff he's done for the elven lore, etc...but. Hm. Gonna be weird without Gaider anywhere.

I have a sneaking suspicion his new project is the same 'New IP' thing we've been hearing about for the past couple of years, which I understand Casey Hudson was overseeing prior to his departure last summer.

 

I've asked if this is the case on Twitter but I doubt he will bother answering.
