I would like Viv as default Divine. I wonder if that'd ****** people off though.

I just think she needs something substantial to do post-Game :D Cass is just as meaningful restoring the Seekers as she is Divine, along with romanced. Leliana either has the Warden or just works being part of the Inquisition leadership.

I have hunch it will be Viv, actually. It would explain why she was hinted at being romance able, and then suddenly not..

It won't be Viv. Default divine is Cass, mages were saved (unsure about either alliance or conscription), Celene rules alone. Unsure about other major choices.

It is? As in fact?

I can't use the Keep atm. If so, it's kind of a shame for Viv. A lot of people don't like her, and she doesn't have much left for her if not Divine. It's a waste of a good character.

I can, for whatever reason all my saves on the keep uses default inquisitor.

Also, default inquisitor is human female rogue and wardens were recruited instead of exiled.

I'm not surprised of Cass being the default Divine. She is not as extremist in one direction or the other as Viv or Leli.

Default Divine is Cass? Hmnn that was my second guess, because she is in the middle of the road in terms of reform.

Oh well. I decided on Cass as Divine myself (romanced), but was hoping better for Vivienne in a general sense.

Really?Hmmn I was wondering why the wardens were recruited in the play through I exiled them..and why calpernia was alive when I chose the templars. Uh oh that means my state bugged too..

and it also means Leliana steeled is default...

Me neither, I was not too surprised about Celene either.

Slightly disapointed with the mages, but I was expecting it to be honest.

I'm not sure. As far as I can tell it defaults to the hidden choice 3rd which would be the skipped personal quest. I've done that in game but it's not showing in the keep only shows me the inspired and steeled choices. So I think she is neither softened or hardened and still unsure of herself. I say this simply because the first thing it showed in the keep was a female trevyelan rogue (I've never created one so in retrospect I assume that was default) and from clicking around when I found Leliana's part it showed inspired, steeled and a hidden choice but the hidden choice was the one it was on. I've since loaded a state so I don't know for sure.

I haven't played DA:I for a while, which is maybe why it loaded the default inquisitor for my save file since perhaps it has not been given the chance to "read" my canon inquisitor choice.

But I don't know, the keep can be rather buggy, perhaps it is something else.

Kind of wished they mixed it up a bit with the mages. Every default hero saved the mages.

The templar quest is just better. And Calpurnia is better. Not to mention, you'll gimp Cass without it.

I thought it would be Celene and Brialia re-united..

Maybe, but there is one certain thing and that is, that the inquisitor is female/human/rouge.

My favorite part of the Calpernia quest is the two scenes with the 'spy crystal'. I just love how Leliana finishes her line when the thing turns on the first time, and then she gets that shrewd look in her eyes as she keeps watching. Sneaky, scheming little vixen!

I think that is mostly why I am disappointed, default world state is too boringly one-sided.

That reminds me: what's the default on Hawke in Inquisition? Is he/she the one who stays in the Fade? That would continue the trend of 'the PC does a heroic sacrifice'.

If that's the default, it doesn't bode well for the Inquisitor.

How is getting stuck in the fade for the millionth time better then time travel? I never understood what's so great about the templar questline. Not to mention that the mage questline feels a little better for the general pacing of the story. The Cole scene at Skyhold makes no sense if you sided with the templars, the red templars make an more interesting faction then just the mages being used as canon fodder for the venatori, Samson is actually an known character by the fandom and the fact he becomes an nemesis of sorts for Cullen helps to spice things up a little.

I also found the templar quest rather boring. I did play it once, probably won't do it again. As for the default world state, it's aimed at new players - so who cares?

Heh.. Cullen's nemesis. That's one I haven't given much thought.

I can't really say I care, but i guess it works.

While Samson is a known character, he's not really one that feels very impressive as suddenly being a big enemy.  He was just some kind of sleazy lyrium junky.

Maybe they should have had Greagoir as the Red Templar leader

Gregoir was decent chap. A little ornery, but misunderstood.

In one of those ending slides, if you sided with Templars, he's heartbroken and retires.

I utterly despised Gregoir...I like the idea :D

But I thought Samson was ok, he shows how far the templars had fallen and the conversations with Cullen were well done (imo)...but from what I've seen on youtube Calpurnia is indeed a bit more compelling/interesting as a character.

I also can't really select many things in the keep...seems a little buggy to me. For example, I'm pretty sure I befriended most companions...but I only get hidden tiles :crying:

You can still select stuff in the hidden tiles. It only shows decisions you made so far.
