IIRC, the reason he's creepin' so close in my picture up there is because I have the 'Sleep Until Dawn' mod, which adds a sleeping tent (usable...witu company...) w/ a daytime party camp afterwards, and in the daytime version everyone switches spots. Leliana is supposed to be hanging out on a blanket over by the fire, but if you kiss her/have smexy times/do anything that would move her she shifts back to her night time camp position...which is now occupied by Oghren.

Awkward.

A bit late to the party, but I'd rather avoid the Leliana-prefers-women-over-men debate. it was a rather sensitive topic on Tumblr a while back regarding all Dragon Age bisexual characters, especially Leliana. It all started because of a certain fan who said Leliana's voice is softer when she speaks about the f!Warden in DAI #lolno.

 

I've played the male Warden romance and youtubed the female one, and I think both romances got equal content. Some people who claim the female one has more scenes and apparently is the canon one I feel take the extra conversation about the hair a bit to heart. Yes, Lels makes the first move and the scene is female-exclusive only, but the male one has more party banter and an extra conversation in Inquisition if your Warden did the Dark Ritual and romanced her.

 

And I'm willing to bet the male Warden is the first relationship Leliana has with a man, and considering what those guards did to her in her DLC during her time in the prison, she might be a bit anxious about laying with another man after that. Leliana's reluctance about making the first move with the m!Warden never came across to me that the relationship was rapey or that m!Warden was forcing her to do something she didn't want to.

Like all bisexuals, I assume Leliana's preferences are based on the outcome of the coin she flips at the start of each day. That's basically how it works, right?

I also kind of liked that Bioware created some bi characters who have a slight preference for one gender, rather than having them all being equally into both. I think that more accurately reflects the real world.

Josephine is sort of the reverse of Leliana, IMO. She's bi but with a slight preference for men.
