My Dalish are too pissed off to hook up with her. She'd probably help, but they're too stuck.. and give in to more bitterness with Morrigan or cry alone, seeing Tamlen as a ghoul.

 

S'all about roleplaying. My canon Warden was pissed off and moody for a bit too, but I gradually had her open up and cool down a bit when she started letting Tamlen go, and accepted all humans aren't the same when she slowly started getting smitten with Leliana. 

 

I always liked the progression I could do with a Dalish Warden, probably the only reason I play Witch Hunt in my playthroughs. She was kicking and screaming when she was getting dragged off in to the human world at the beginning of DA:O, cursing everyone at every turn for a while, but when Arianne asked her if she'd change anything and go back to the way things were before during Witch Hunt, before Duncan came, and she lost Tamlen, etc. I had her grudgingly admit that perhaps it all happened for a reason. I imagine Leliana was part of that thought process. Can't regret the way her life turned out anymore with her in it.

It's funny in the new Hobbit flicks, they make all their dwarves this way too.

 

Except Kili, the guy who romances Evangeline Lilly. And the leader. Because they know it's clownish otherwise.

I honestly don't see any difference with any gender regarding Leliana and her romance. One character I noticed liking females over males more is Isabela.

 

I don't agree regarding Issy either. Equally flimsy nonsense. It's like Leliana has major history with a woman so let's use that to justify a preference, ohh Issy got more history with men, need to twist some other line to claim she prefers women.

Yeah, I can see roleplaying Dalish differently.. I just indulge the broodiness on those.

 

Well, no. Not sure why they'd have to be, there's already Thorin who's like, the very model of a hawt dwarf. Rugged and broody. Yeah. 

 

Though my Warden could probably have given Thorin lessons on broodiness for the first hours of the game, actually. I wish we could set the Warden's default expression. I would have set her's to a permanent scowl for a while until she opened up, as she bitterly brooded her way through Ostagar, snapping at every dirty shem she could. Fun times.

I'd rather have a 'background' DLC for all the Inquisitor's, tbh. The absence of interaction with their family/colleagues/friends from their past stole a lot of depth from them, as opposed to the Warden and Hawke.

I guess it's saturation. People have been asking to romance Leliana in DAI since before the game came out and the Devs made it pretty clear it wasn't going to happen. Too much work to record lines and make scenes for a romance on top of the stuff that acknowledges a past romance if it happened.

They're not going to waste the time, resources and effort required to make an old romance a romance again because she's 'freakin hot.' They've said they're not many, many times. People still going on about it is getting tiresome.

How about a big romantic DLC where you could see all past lovers reunions? We don't even need voices in there for the Warden, no words are needed. All fanservice, of course, but a poor man can dream. They said they would do a musical DLC if they got to 10 million copies sold, so it could be a co-co-co combo.

You wouldn't guess it from her stony exterior, but my Warden is in fact in a choir with Leliana. They've been known to reach some impressively high notes while practicing backstage. Warden doesn't even have the bard specialization.
