I spent the longest time thinking Leliana had joined the Seekers after DA2. 

 

Then Gaider was all "She isn't a Seeker, why would you think she was?" and I was all "WELL I DUNNO."

 

Guess that armour was placeholder.

 

She looked good in it though.

 

 

Well, if you look closely, it looks as if she snapped a chestplate, shoulderguards and some gauntlets on her Inquisition chainmail...

That, and use a bit of imagination...

 

No, someone just model-swapped Isabela with Leliana by the looks of it. :S

 

I greatly approve. Shame Leliana didn't have more to do in DA2. But there'd be plenty who disagree.

I didn't like Leliana's forced Chantry allegiance to begin with. I would've preferred her to stay Rogue after Origins, or at least have a bigger role with the Warden. It's annoying when your closest characters have their fates and roles completely taken away from you and modified by someone else, and Bioware's the biggest offender in that aspect.

I don't see that as a bad thing really. I like how Leliana, Morrigan, Alistair have their own storyline post-Origins, fully independent from the Warden's. The devs wanted them to contribute more to the DA world instead of just being the Warden's best friend/lover and staying like that. *coughGarruscough* *nohateintended*

 

I feel like I'm the only one who didn't mind the Warden/Leliana's separation after Origins, despite the Warden's story was over. It was obvious Leliana's story wasn't done, and I think Inquisition made her character even better and much, much more interesting and believable (not that she wasn't in Origins).

I actually feel the same. Not to mention David alluded to the fact that the Warden's story was over a few times before Inquisition launched.

 

At this point, though, it isn't unreasonable to say Leliana's story is over, as much as it hurts my nostalgic heart.

I was okay with it in Inquisition, because there was finally detail given to the nature of their separation, and they gave some hope that it was only temporary. And it turned out they did still see each other quite often while she was Left Hand, and were apparently 'happier than you could imagine' before that. That cleared up some of the mystery that made it just downright bitter before. 

 

In DA2 it just sucked. Nobody knew what the heck was going on with the Warden and Leliana for years, the cameo was so vague a lot of people thought her work as Left Hand meant the Warden relationship ended. Kinda blew having to wait until Inquisition to actually know what happened. Glad those people were wrong, anyway.

 

The separation thing has lost it's charm by now, though. Let her go back to the Warden and let them stay together now, plz.

The epilogue slide in DAO did happen, technically. DAI confirmed that they were living happily together like that for a few years.

What sort of adventures would you go on? I dearly hope they'd be more interesting than all the random crap in Inquisition.

Anything they bloody well want to do. Could find a beach somewhere. Go spelunking in some ruins. Go to Antiva and have Josephine introduce them to the best parties. Build a house in the woods. Or on aforementioned beach. Use that for downtime when they're not solving everyone's problems in RPG protagonist fashion. See the world rather than be stuck in one corner of it. Adventuring!

 

That's the beauty of them being free to do as they wish. Best way to go for them all day erry day, tbh. :3

Argh, caves... I was so annoyed when the Lost Temple of Dirthamen didn't contain any worthwhile lore. I've had enough of random adventuring, personally, and for my own Lilith Surana, nothing would be better than being the Divine's consort and liaison to both the Grey Wardens and the Circle.

Same goes for Mass Effect 1.
