Wow, that was a pretty random Godwin there

Yes. She says it even if romanced too. That hurts, Leli.

I don't see why she wouldn't it is her opinion and fits even in dao.

"Jews are not people" also started out as an opinion of a madman. Look where that opinion brought us.
That will only happen if you keep harping on it and let the tension build up. It's silly isn't it? Why entertain it if you know it's not right? Puts you in the same light as that madman. Just let it slide dude. T'is just a game... not some genocide waiting to happen. Plus, it's off topic.
Moving on...
Was anyone else annoyed by Leliana's "Love is common. Love is simple." line?
Initially, yes but if you think more on this, it has some sort of truth to it.

And thank the Maker for some simple and common things in life like water and breathing. But yes, it was quite strange for someone who spoke so vehemently about her love for the Warden. Anyway if I'm not wrong she said that when asked about her relationship with a beloved and recently deceased person very important for her...

I don't see why it is strange she didn't say love meant nothing to her she said that her bond with justinia were far greater than love to her what in fact as i said fits.

I just find that conversation all round odd, and don't pick the relevant dialogue.

Yup, but this could come after asking her about the Warden and if romanced she declares very passionate things about it, that's why it seems to me a little bit strange. Then again common and simple does not mean unimportant.

Sorry, that was not my intention, but it seems I can be as tactless as the Inquisitor... My apologies.

I agree, I avoided that option in all my playthroughs after watching where it led.

That's just a joke, my friend.
What Leliana said was harsh, I know, and throw in a dead romanced Warden in there... well... what you highlighted there just got me in the feels.

Hehe, I thought it was a joke, but one cannot be careful enough. And what Leli said was not as harsh as the Inquisitor's personal questions. It's part of the trouble with having so few ways to interact with the characters, but some of the questions in the game fall in the category of being quite a jerk.

Yeah. Is this about the Inquisitor asking Leliana about the Divine "Were you more than just friends" question? It is rather disturbing, I agree, but I just had to. Sorry Lels... It's the only way for me to find out how Leliana is faring after the explosion at the Conclave.

Yup and there are other disturbing questions. "Hey Josie, are you and Leli more than friends?" just before putting the romance with Josie in motion. I just watched that one because I wanted to know if it could trigger a game over screen with Leli explaining you that she doesn't make empty threads... Oh boy, it almost seems next thing you are going to say is "Because I think both of you are hot and I want to join."

If that happens you can bet you're gonna be Leliana's new mantelpiece. I seem to recall Leliana intending to get a dwarven figurine for her mantel in DAO and Blackwall will also comment on becoming Leliana's mantelpiece for courting Josie (if you didn't romance Josie). The Inquisitor will be a fine addition. XD

A bit, and only at first. Considering the context, it's really the inquisitor's fault for being insensitive idiot.

I either don't remember that line, or missed it.
When does she say that, and what was the context?

When asked if she was romantically involved with Justinia, she replies with the 'love is simple' line. I guess it could be interpreted to mean that her relationship with Justinia is more complex because Justinia was a savior, a mentor and a friend, whereas a lover would be 'just' a lover.

Whereas her relationship with Justinia... right...?

I think it would depend on the circumstances. Which one was more important to Thedas at that moment?
Leliana isn't selfish, so I don't think she'd choose her lover over the well-being of thousands of people.

The question itself is kinda ridiculous anyway. Especially after she just told you about the Warden. The Inquisitor can be a real daft idiot sometimes, asking whether she was more than friends with Justinia and Josephine even though she made it perfectly clear she was with the Warden. Derp.
So, if Leliana had to choose between one of a romanced Hero of Ferelden or Justinia dying...
That kinda seems like a 'Would you choose your lover or your mother?' question.
Who knows. Probably not something she thinks about.
