Wouldn't be surprised if Varric wins, though I think he's a bit overrated. Take Bianca away from him and he doesn't really stand much of a chance...

I think the 'heart lines' were implemented because of outcry about Anders in DA2. There is a particular conversation that leads to sleeping with him that seems innocuous and failure to flirt with Anders nets rivalry points, which some people got annoyed with as well.
That's probably why the approval meter disappeared too.
Argh, yes! That convo with Anders was just awkward. The option to let him down was far from "gentle", something like "I DON'T WANT YOU THINKING OF ME THAT WAY!" Urgh.

I was actually genuinely tempted by Alistair on my first playthrough.
No RPG man has ever tempted me, not even Garrus - mostly because he was a total Bro long before he was a romance option. However, Leliana won the day with her giggles and coy glances.
Clueless IRL... Weeeelll, can't say it didn't happen to me. In videogames though I think I get the signals quite ok, for example, I knew exactly what was Zevran talking about when he mentioned the massage. My joke was about all the things people said about it.
I don't really have the time for it, but I'm tempted to do a femshep playthrough of ME2 and ME3 just to romance Garrus. He's awesome! And someday I should finish my city elf girl playthrough to get the only one heart achievement in DAO I still don't have: Alistair. I blame on videogame industry, so many good games out there, so little time.

I was thinking my canon Warden is a warrior, my canon Hawke is a warrior, one of my Quizzys is a warrior... I could have 2 rogues and a mage for the ultimate group with any of them and still have a balanced group. So it's Morrigan, Leliana and Isabela for me and no facebook pool will make me think otherwise.

I had to choose Sera (that was hard dammit). Lels is amazing and waifu through and through but i had more fun with Sera in her romance. Plus more scenes with her.
But I was suprised by how many ppl picked Sera on twitter though.
