I'm not even sure who my own personal choices would be other than Leliana and the Warden, tbh. Maybe...dog, and...I don't know about mages. Someone.
My Warden, her caramel pudding, and her mabari are all she needs. :3

I definitely agree with Morrigan being there. Alistair... meh, but we could always use the lulz. Realistically I would prefer Sera, Velanna or Nathaniel in his place.
My ultimate party would probably be Morrigan, Cassandra, and Nathaniel
I'd use the Inquisitor too ![]()
I tend to headcanon Nathaniel as my HoF's Warden right-hand-man, but she can only have one rogue in her party apparently, and that's Leliana.
Maybe Morrigan for the mage. Cause that sisterly bond did things to my feels.

Well, to me it would have been better if Leli had lost against Isabela. Honestly, I like Varric well enough but we're talking about my favorite DA character and my favorite DA2 character. Oh well, at least they both got to the final round ![]()
I'm suddenly imagining Morrigan-Cassandra-Leliana as my ultimate party. Oh, the banter would be priceless.
When it comes to the leaders, it feels kinda wrong to me not to choose the Inquisitor, given that he or she leads the Inquisition and wields the Anchor.
Bah, Warden didn't need no Anchor to win. :S

Technically the Inquisitor only needed it to close the Rifts (and that very useful skill) other than that they relied on their skills to win
I'm rather surprised that a good number of people are complaining about the Ultimate Party choice. Mostly the voting mechanic. They only count the comment with the most likes, instead of the number of comments as a whole.
As far as the strongest warrior/rogue/mage go, lore-wise; I'd say :
Warrior : Cassandra
Rogue : Leliana (runner-up, Cole)
Mage : Solas/Morrigan (runner-up, Anders)
Maybe the rules were only one of each class for the Ultimate Party, but my Warden was a sword and shield unkillable tank. I'm sure he wouldn't need Alistair, or Blackwall, or Aveline, or even Cassandra if built as a tank. I said I would have chosen Isabela, Leliana and Morrigan, because with the tank, the rogue and the mage I had all the basics covered, and I enjoyed Isabela's dirty mind and jokes. I could also use my old Origins group with Wynne, Leliana and Morrigan, because having a healer is allways great. Or Shale to have more punch.
But the truly Ultimate Party for me would be the Hero of Ferelden as unkillable tank, warrior expert wielding sword and shield, the Champion of Kirkwall as a two handed dps warrior and my Trevelyan Knight Enchanter mage. We would need a rogue, and who would be better than the spymaster of the Inquisition and veteran of the Fifth Blight?
Indeed. I like old Varric, but I like more dirty minded Isabela and no one can beats Leliana, both as the most loved character for me, as well as the most versatile of rogues. She can dps, give support and control enemies. Which rogue companion in Dragon Age could say the same?
Poor Zevran. Forever the odd one out of DA:O's holy trinity love interest party. :S

Feel bad for elven Antonia Banderas

Zev romancers really did get the short end of the stick, didn't they. :s
I envy them, because on the other hand they were the ones who already got the riding into the sunset thing. Without further complications, like being King/being prisoner in the Fade/being involved in a War inside the Grey Wardens, old gods/elven gods/her mother and/or being the Divine/the Divine's Left Hand.

Well, he ends up being the only Origins LI who's actually physically with the Warden to help them with their Calling quest as of DA:I, and the only one who can't have something happen to them that could...complicate things with the Warden, for some. Pretty much the exact same on-the-sidelines route that I really hope Leliana goes after DA:I, honestly.
Strange after his horrible cameo in DA2, that Zevmancers are the only ones with a ride off into the sunset ending, yeah.
If the post is simultaneous it's not a ninja, right? We both thought the same thing. ![]()
Oh was he...? Didn't know that! That's actually sweet. I'm glad, as they seemed to be losing out.Well, he ends up being the only Origins LI who's actually physically with the Warden to help them with their Calling quest as of DA:I, and the only one who can't have something happen to them that could...complicate things with the Warden, for some. Yep.
I'm actually a bit jealous of them sometimes. They're the only ones that Weekes' 'The Warden could die a hero or ride off into the sunset with their lover' statement is actually true for. While I'm sitting here in constant uncertainty, meanwhile. ;_;

They needed something after that buggy cameo

Hence, why I hope Leliana goes the way of Zevran for the rest of the series now, as I've probably said many times before at this point. Unless they change their mind and do something with the Warden again anyway.
I want my sunset too damnit. >.>
