Sometimes I feel like I'm one of the few who has never had any desire to make an Orlesian-Warden-Rivaini sandwich at any point. My Warden doesn't share her lunches, and the Rivaini ingredients always felt excessive. Good old Orlesian is enough for her.

My Warden was young and a bit wild until the whole Howe-is-a-murdering-traitor-b*stard thing, so it sort of happened. Leliana was feeling a bit playful and they just went with it. It was fun, but neither of them are inclined to do such things again. They're all the other one needs.

Yeah works for some Wardens I suppose, but my Warden has always just echoed my own thoughts on this kind of thing, as in a big naaaaah, Leliana's all she wants or needs. :3

Option never arises for me anyway tbh. :S

Merrill, who thinks Isabela and and Leliana were glee-clubbing it up together...? That's still one of my favourite lines in the whole series tbh.

I never put Leli in there, you know it requires some hardening I don't agree. My Warden wasn't a perfect man and he liked errr fusion cuisine, but changing Leli to get a foursome was out of the question for my Cousland.... And Zev was so excited about it... It was just a test... For science... It was before deciding if Morrigan or Leliana... Don't judge me, ok?

Yeah, never got my Warden and Leliana to do the threesome/foursome with Isabela/Zevran either.

 

One, I always unharden Leliana in Origins.

 

Two, my Mahariel was a little bit too possessive and jealous regarding Leliana and people flirting with her back in the Origins days. He may be mellow and a little more laid-back during Inquisition's time but he still won't tolerate anyone going any further than playful flirting with Leliana.

 

Reminds me what kind of a interesting scenario would it be with Carver becoming a warden and serving under the Hero of Ferelden. Since through banter it's confirmed Carver/Bethany met the Warden, I can imagine what would happen if Carver gained enough confidence and tried to sweet-talk Leliana not knowing she is his commander's waifu. My Warden would break his wrist, lol .

I wasn't even aware the option existed for the longest time until someone told me. All I ever do in there is play cards and catch damned sneaky pirates cheating at it. :S

Yarp, that's how it was for me. In my mind the Warden was going to politely refuse, but then Leliana shocked her. Threesomes aren't my thing IRL, but they aren't necessarily bad things. I get why people wouldn't see this as fitting in the case of the Warden and Leliana's epic romance, though. To me Leliana certainly wouldn't do something of that nature if she didn't want to. Her faith may be strong, but innocent Chantry girl she ain't.

OTOH, in some playthroughs she doesn't do it, playing along the lines of her wanting to completely abandon her hedonistic past and the fact she waited until she was in love to sleep with the Warden. Also other, slightly darker reasons I adopted into my headcanon one from a fanfic I read... :s

While it's nowhere near as extreme as DAI, again I wish the hardening mechanic wasn't so extreme in Origins either. Telling her she shouldn't feel bad for being bored in the Chantry and missing adventure and that doing so doesn't take from her faith was more what I wanted to get across. Tch.

She doesn't suggest it unless the Warden happens to, though. And given the nature of her romance arc, that's fitting. 

 

Meh. My Warden would never be into that in my case, and I can't see Leliana being into it in my scenario either. Different strokes.

I take Leliana with me everywhere and she's usually not hardened.  I typically don't activate her romance until later in the game so it's possible.

tbh, only folks who really get any sort of ire from me are those ones who exploit the game to activate multiple romances at once. That makes Snook disapprove. *shifty eyes*

thinking of playing a city elf archer. never have played an archer period. of course I'm going to romance bae because every time i try to romance someone else, it never works.

I tried Archer on one of my playthroughs once. I swear, Leliana was probably like, "*giggles* Oh, sweetheart. Just give it here!" Crap was an understatement!

No one else is worth romancing but bae. Well OK maybe Morrigan could have tempted me once upon a time, but she's straight as Leli's arrows, so nothing doing!

I always had a crossbow as my Warden's secondary weapon. Headcanoned she was actually terrible with it and only used it when she absolutely had to. Lels did all her archery for her. And lockpicking. And...trap disarming. Warden just stabbed things. :S

Warden is definitely sword-and-shield for me. She's useless at that rogueish stuff. That's what Leliana is for. Perfect complement to one another. While combat in Origins is clunky, at least on consoles, I really liked the ability and skill points and tactics systems. Great fun messing around and getting your team in sync.
