The love triangle with Leliana and Morrigan was errr, very well done, from a purely hypothetical point of view, of course. Now excuse me while I do some errands. If Snook asks where I'm at, I went to... Rivain... Yeah, because they say it's a wonderful season to visit Rivain.I tried Archer on one of my playthroughs once. I swear, Leliana was probably like, "*giggles* Oh, sweetheart. Just give it here!" Crap was an understatement!
No one else is worth romancing but bae.Well OK maybe Morrigan could have tempted me once upon a time, but she's straight as Leli's arrows, so nothing doing!
Sister Nightingale: Leliana in DA:I Appreciation&Discussion (Nope, still not romanceable)

Morrigan wasn't the experimenting type, so I'll never know.

I can't believe I just had to use MATH on these forums...
In other news, I have been avoiding JoH spoilers but I've read the advisors don't play any role in the story. I find this pretty disappointing considering new dialogue has been spotted from the companions. I'm not really expecting BioWare to do much with the advisors in future installments, but I do hope we haven't already seen the last of them in vanilla Inquisition.
I really hope we get some sort of closure with the advisors (esp. Leli) before the final DLC rolls around, because I doubt it will ever happen outside of this game.

Aren't we lucky we have the internet so we can swoon about fictional characters who are perfect without judgement?
EDIT: Not sure would I count it as "flirting", but this is one of my favourite Origins banters. Leliana giving Morrigan fashion advice. I'd kill to see Leliana get that shopping trip.

I wounder if the Cousland + Leliana pairing raises any eyebrows. With the relatively recent war between Ferelden & Orlais, and the long period of occupation. Orlesians aren't exactly too popular in Ferelden, and vice versa. And while the Orlesian nobles wouldn't bat an eyelid about a noble appearing in public with their paramour, the Fereldans strike me as potentially being more stodgy. They could be the scandal of two courts.

Quite likely. However in my world, at least, Fergus doesn't give a hoot and Alistair is King. Plus my Warden's Arlessa of Amaranthine and good friends with Eamonn/Teagan. So in short, the grumbling is kept pretty quiet.I wounder if the Cousland + Leliana pairing raises any eyebrows. As for the Orlesian court - Cousland simply doesn't give a toss, and what fool is gonna diss Sister Nightingale's bae?

Fergus would probably bro fist his little brother/sister. That's basically what he does if you have the Warden boast about Iona in the Cousland origin story.

He did!
Fergus: "You saucy little minx!"
Mother: "FERGUS!"
Poor Iona.

It always bugged me that the Warden couldn't help her child in Denerim.
I suppose I'll just head canon that after the war the Warden had her sent to Highever, where she was raised in comfort and as a lady-in-waiting for whomever Fergus' marries.

so i did make that City Elf archer...Minet(pronounced "Me neigh") Tabris. She straight up told Cailan she killed Vaughn when we he asked her how the Alienages were. The lack of ***ks to give is strong in this one.

SNAP.
Although a crazy idea has occurred to me since Inquisition - what if Sera was her kid!

This really bugged me. She's sitting there, in the plague ridden alienage, waiting for her mother to return and we know she won't come back, and we can't even say anything to her. ::deep breath::
That's a pretty good head canon for it, though. I might borrow that from you.

her Orlesian accent is the only one i can honestly tolerate. Cause Isolde...and def not Marjolaine. The accents sound no better in DAI...except hers. I'm biased...long hair don't care.

That's totally what mine did. It's so sad.
I love his BioWare can make you have feelz about an NPC like that, who has so little screentime.
Although a crazy idea has occurred to me since Inquisition - what if Sera was her kid!Doubt it - got the impression the girl was younger than what Sera would have had to have been. Plus she was raised in an orphanage from pretty young, right? Iona's daughter lived in the alienage because there was "no room" at Lady Landra's estate. I mean, what? For a little elven girl?? OTOH, great headcanon fodder!
Actually, this theory circulated for a bit. I think I even saw a thread for it. It's too much of a coincidence for me to get my hopes up, but I'd really enjoy that continuity if it did turn out to be true.

Be clever of BioWare, though! My Warden would totally make it up to Sera somehow. She's the kind of noble even Sera can't hate. She's all for the little people. Abandon Amaranthine?? Sod off!

Not gonna lie, it'd be kinda hilarious if you Cousland Warden players totally slept with Sera's mom. Just from a meta perspective. Especially if you have an Inquisitor romancing Sera.
Could have added a whole new 4th-wall breaking dialogue to any argument with her. "Yeah, well, in my past life, I literally boinked ur mum lul."

I actually find "Orlesian" accents a bit irritating, but it's just that perfect little lilt. It's dreamy. I could listen to her all day. I absolutely love the way she says "yes?" and when she ends a sentence in "no?". And the giggle...Maker.
