Yeah. Just like DAO she slips off without even staying for the celebrations. With Kieran again too, only this time he isn't a zygote. :S

Sadly means my Warden and her are probably never going to see each other again. Hopefully she at least sent her good wishes for her with Leliana, for when she returns. :(

In my case she's off to meet my Warden, at least in my canon playthrough...

Kinda sucks that Leliana is so tied up with the game mechanics that she can't have a scene where she's implied to be leaving to join the Warden, like she said she would, as well...

Quite possibly. This is the prior screengrab that I have...

Hehehehe. Funny that Leliana is the cranky one while Morrigan is downright perky compared to her previous appearance. I wonder what kind of mother Leliana would be...

A MILF?

I don't know, really. Don't really see her as a mother. But if she were to be one, she'd probably be more like Morrigan as a mom than one would think.

I don't think Leliana is interested in having children even if the Warden weren't mostly infertile/another woman.

She is close to 40 as well. I think that ship has sailed.

But had things played out differently I think she would have been doting.

I think Morrigan has got used to interacting with people other than Flemeth so she's softened quite a bit, whereas Leliana is weighed down by her position. I reckon Leliana would be a good mother. She'd probably devote herself to the wellbeing of her kid(s) with a similar intensity to her devotion to Justinia.

I think my Warden and Leliana might have toyed with the idea of adoption/something at some point but shrugged it off as unlikely given their lifestyles, and the Warden's early death. My Warden I could see as the motherly sort. Leliana...not so much, but I could easily see her adapting to it like Morrigan does.

When they're older (now that the Warden might be able to get there) and their adventuring days are finished, maybe. Maybe. They'd be badass moms, that's for sure. :S

...there's also a chance they'll just content themselves with the Schmooples lineage. Long be their reign and all that.

Leliana definitely seems to have a soft spot for children, hence Kieran and she also has that one conversation that is easy to miss at the Winter Palace with a noble friend of hers who tells Lels his children will be overjoyed to see her again and Leliana expresses excitement about visiting them as well.

There's no doubt she'd make a great mother who would strive to be there for her kid(s) because she lost her parents at a very young age and wouldn't allow them to relive through similar things.

Though if the Warden or anybody else asked her whether she'd like to have children sometime in the future I think she'd have second thoughts about it. We know Leliana is very self-critical about herself, sometimes too much for her own good, she'd say she would be terrible as a mother since she never knew her own and wouldn't know how to properly raise her child. And given her life-style she probably gave up the hope wanting/ever having a child because of the dangerous life she leads.

Except Kieran, I still headcanon my Warden having at least one child with Leliana after returning from his Quest.  :P If Gaider said that Alistair/Anora and Alistair/Warden will most likely produce an heir one day, I don't see why any Origins LI wouldn't be able to have children. The writers wouldn't take that away from us.

Gaider said this? Huh, never heard that. I thought the chances of two Wardens having children was basically nill...though I suppose if they were both cured...

In that case, maybe my Warden will pass on her grizzled wisdom to some adopted child with Leliana when she's older after all...not sure who, mind you. Someone. If the opportunity ever came up. :S

I remember pretty recently someone asked Gaider about Elf F! Warden and Alistair (more specifically about elf hereditary traits) on Twittter, he said that the possibility of two wardens having biological child is zero. Though it seems it's still possible to have a child if one of them isn't a warden, as shown by Morrigan who could have either human baby or magical baby. Maybe Morrigan is just an anomaly in this case, who knows for sure.

I really, really doubt that Bioware would give our PCs and their LIs a child though, unless it's a crucial part of the story. Though I really think that girls like Leli or Merril or Josie are the types who love to be a mother.

Yeah, nugs don't scream at you, cry incessantly, or become moody, rebellious teenagers.

At least, I think they don't.

That's always been kind of weird when you think about it though, I mean a male Warden who sleeps with Morrigan only once apparently slips up and gets her preggo but a male Warden who sleeps with Leliana many times never does. Does Leliana just understand contraceptives better than Morrigan does or something? xD

never really got what crucial story purpose human!Kieran has though.

Though now that I look at him, Nugward looks like walking proof that nugs do in fact have an edgy teenager phase.

My Warden will be praying that she never has to deal with this when her and Leliana start the Schmooples dynasty.

Haha yeah.. the narrative reason is pretty much up to our headcanon and all, maybe Leliana was not ready for a commitment or maybe Morrigan tricked the Warden somehow XD. As for the actual reason, I think it's simply because Leliana is a bisexual LI, and Bioware doesn't want to put the player in a situation where romancing with a particular gender would add any extra content, though perhaps this argument cannot be used as a reason why the Warden and Leliana couldn't adopt kid(s).

I think human!Kieran still somewhat important if the Warden romanced his mother and going through Eluvian, but yeah, I don't see any substantial reason why he has to exist. It's weird though, maybe it's a bug or a minor oversight in writing, but in Inquisition Leliana doesn't even acknowledge that Kieran exists if he's just a normal boy, even though Morrigan's personality would softened after the birth of her son, regardless of the fact that Kieran is either a human or half-deity.

Yeah i don't really see it as something that would appeal to her, the hardened version especially so.

I've been having way too much fun headcanoning the hell out of this Skyrim character and seeing it as my Warden and Leliana's post-DAI misadventures lately.

Spoiler

Has sunsets and everything. Since BioWare won't give me one, I'll make my own sunset damnit!

...oh don't mind me, finishing another DA:O run has just made me sentimental and doing weird things again.  :P

"We're not lost, we're just taking the scenic way!"

I get the feeling they are actually pretty lost if they ended up out of Thedas and in Tamriel somehow, must have been a wrong turn in Antiva  :pinched:

Bah, she is an excellent navigator! Arriving here was totally intentional! These are...uh, those lands far to the west she was in a while ago. Yeah. They were pretty so she thought she'd take her there.

Leliana: My love, this ancient writings say this portal is the gate to a world far from the one we know!
H: Far away from anywhere and anyone we know?
L: Yes! A completely different world!
H: I see. So nobody is going to ask us to save the world. Again.
L: We would be lost in a foreign land!
H: Yeah. Lost. Sure. Do you think they have any darkspawn there?
L: I don't know...
H: Mmmm, I see. What are we waiting for?

Imagine Leliana's shock at the boost in deadliness to her archery. Not to mention the sudden ability to cast magic. What would her favored skills be in Skyrim? Archery, of course. Light armor, alchemy... Actually she'd probably max out the whole rogue tree.

Edit: I was surprised by how many locations you can discover in Skyrim by just sticking to the road compared to Oblivion.

I know opinion is divided on the "The Dawn will come" scene. Personally I wasn't a big fan of the religious message, but I enjoyed hearing Corinne Kempa actually singing herself.
