That's always been kind of weird when you think about it though, I mean a male Warden who sleeps with Morrigan only once apparently slips up and gets her preggo but a male Warden who sleeps with Leliana many times never does. Does Leliana just understand contraceptives better than Morrigan does or something? xD

never really got what crucial story purpose human!Kieran has though.

Morrigan probably cast some sort of spell, since her objective was to conceive. The Wardens being largely sterile normally also might point to magic being involved.

But since the dark ritual needs conception on the night, getting pregnant before it seems counter-productive

I know opinion is divided on the "The Dawn will come" scene. Personally I wasn't a big fan of the religious message, but I enjoyed hearing Corinne Kempa actually singing herself.

Spoiler

I liked the singing, but my favorite part was seeing Leliana sitting next to Josephine. Two friends comforting each other with their presence, and big sis Leli letting Josie have the chair. It's adorable. :D

You can't spell Leli or Josie without adorable.

It's... statistically impossible.

I would disagree. When Leliana suggests cutting out that bard's tongue she is not adorable in the least. Unless...

I still want to know what Leliana did with that measuring stick, string and handkerchief that left Josie with such a horrible memory... I'm imagining some kind of improvised fishing rod... But what was she fishing for? Mmh.

Maybe she's... Barren?! Like infertile like Miranda was? Good and bad news, I guess. Good news, all the sex they want without worry. Bad news, no little Leliana's running around. Good thing it seems she doesn't seem to want children, or it could really depress her. Or maybe it does depress her, and it's what caused her to become such a cold and merciless person by DAI?

I think your original suggestion makes more sense. Something to (re)move an item of clothing or other important thing at an embarrassing moment...

Mmh... Now I'm tempted to get those items and see how many things I can come up with...

Imagine Leliana's shock at the boost in deadliness to her archery. Not to mention the sudden ability to cast magic. What would her favored skills be in Skyrim? Archery, of course. Light armor, alchemy... Actually she'd probably max out the whole rogue tree.

Edit: I was surprised by how many locations you can discover in Skyrim by just sticking to the road compared to Oblivion.

I made her a follower using the 'Familiar Faces' mod, which basically means I had to create her as a character first and build her playstyle myself, so I made her geared mostly towards Archery, Speech (useless for a follower, yeah...) light armor, sneak, pickpocketing, and lockpicking. Bit of one handed, but she's set to only ever use it when she's being attacked and sometimes on horseback. Doesn't use any magic. So yeah, basically the entire rogue skillset.

Would probably join the Thieves Guild. And the Bard's College. My Warden's more the Companions sort.

Leliana: My love, this ancient writings say this portal is the gate to a world far from the one we know!
H: Far away from anywhere and anyone we know?
L: Yes! A completely different world!
H: I see. So nobody is going to ask us to save the world. Again.
L: We would be lost in a foreign land!
H: Yeah. Lost. Sure. Do you think they have any darkspawn there?
L: I don't know...
H: Mmmm, I see. What are we waiting for?

Draugr kinda look like darkspawn. Warden feels right at home when she's fighting them. :S

But without darkspawn, where would all the blood for experiments of dubious nature come from? There aren't really enough templars left to harvest it from, after all...

My Warden would be quite pleased if she never had to see another darkspawn again.

Still plently of damned blood mages though. Can't escape them it seems.

Mine actually really likes being a Grey Warden and doesn't mind fighting darkspawn. You're allowed to kill as many as you want without feeling guilty.

Mmh... Do you mean necromancers? It's not quite the same thing. And Daedra are cooler than demons. At least they have names. :D

Basically the same idea, though.

She's already been attacked by some creepy cultist that lead her to a blood sacrifice going on and everything. Felt right at home putting that to an end...might join the Dawnguard actually...

Few key differences, but yeah, all ancient orders dedicated to killing something that needs to die.

Grey Wardens win tho. They get the shiniest armour.

Well...they fight darkspawn, and darkspawn are weak to silverite.

Thus, shiny silverite armour. Seems pretty logical actually. They can detect Wardens, they see them coming anyway. :S

I wonder if the Calling cure would make the Warden succeptible to the taint again, though. Fighting darkspawn on a regular basis might be problematic then.

Though, even if the taint and all its benefits was removed from the Warden, wouldn't they still be more resistant to it than most? They were more or less infected with it for eleven years, I suppose resistance might have built up regardless. Mahariel particularly perhaps, as they were infected with it even before they were a Warden.

The Night's Watch has some awesome fur cloaks though. Those are badass.

...which is why you mash up Warden armour and fur cloaks!
