Speaking of the taint...

In DA:I during In Hushed Whispers it was revealed that some people are resistant to the taint, and Leliana has this trait. I wonder if it is that resistance which is the determining factor in whether or not people survive the Joining.

The Night's Watch has some awesome fur cloaks though. Those are badass.

...which is why you mash up Warden armour and fur cloaks!

Awwwww yeah.

Would've been nice if Ferelden had some Fur armor

Yeah, I like how they added that. It makes sense (if not a bit TOO convenient) that our non-warden companions/ protags have this immunity or resistance to it.

Seems likely. I'd wager Leliana would survive the Joining if she went through it.

I always thought it was due to prolonged contact in DAO, but maybe it's genetic at this point. Like the Blights had an effect on Theodosians like the Black Death did on Europeans.

The next step in evolution is for people to become toxic to Darkspawn, thus erasing the Blight completely! Muahahaha! (I've been reading mad science stuff. It affects my train of thought.)

Nugs are renowned for their Blight resistance. Leliana has Blight resistance.

Leliana's father was in fact a nug.

Everything makes sense now.

Ah yes, that magnificent fur lining on Cullen's armor. Fur seems to be a Ferelden thing, because I don't remember any Orlesians wearing it. Strange considering Leliana mentions fur as part of the fine clothing she misses form Orlais in DAO.

I mean, there are few fashion accessories that say 'ridiculously wealthy' as loudly as an ermine fur cape.

Do not open spoiler if fur coats bother you.

Snook! Stahp. You're making me interested in Skyrim.

Oh well, it's an RPG. I kind of like the idea of RPGs. I think it's inevitable at this point that I play it one day.

Just gotta remember to mod the hell out of it, I guess. Moar than ArmA!

*ahem* If it wasn't for that little 'Z' I would think Leliana is doing something else in that last image... Or maybe she can do it in her sleep?

Depends... Does her tongue move in any significant fashion while she's asleep?

Also, wouldn't this is... uncomfortable? Imagine, any holes for fresh air to come in are limited. I'm surprised she can breathe for an extended amount of time, in that position.

Nowadays, I'm playing less Skyrim and more something unrecognisable that has been modded into something else entirely. It's best that way. :S

Fair enough. It's not like I haven't modded a game beyond recognition before. I can think of at least a two where I put in a major mod package just to play the game.

Also, pretty much my reaction to Leli/Calpernia.

I mean, I tend to scoff at most Leliana ships, but this one in particular gets a double wut.

Shipping her with someone partly responsible for killing Justinia?

Leliana would never slum with a Venatori.

Speaking of ships, I might add that I'm so GLAD the Leliana/Josephine ship never came to life. Not in Inquisition, before, or after. Their big/little sister relationship was one of the best things to happen in DAI.

I've noticed some people who don't like Leliana tend to make her seem as promiscuous as possible. Yeah, sure, she was a bard that most likely involved that she had to sleep with her targets every now and then to avoid bloodshed (though I feel she avoided seducing her targets to bed after she committed to a relationship with Marjolaine, hence the way she reacts to Marjolaine sleeping with another man in Leliana's Song).

Even though Leliana strikes me as a person who loves to have a lot of sex, I think she would do that with the person she is in a relationship with (e.g. the Warden, Marjolaine) rather than jump into bed with a random person she meets for the first time so as to satisfy her desires.

Yeah. I remember I was always extremely 'meh' on the whole idea pre-release, (ah...the memories of the day Josephine got announced and this thread exploded with it...) so it gave me no small measure of smug satisfaction to see it shot down so fast in-game in favour of something much better, I'll admit. Strong, basically familial-level friendships between two female characters (two bisexuals at that) really doesn't happen often enough in...any fiction really. Seems more often than not that means they must have banged at some point, or inevitably will bang at some point. Kind of bothersome. Josephine and Leliana's sisterly bond was exactly what I was hoping for.

And yeah to the second bit too. Leliana enjoys sex. Very much so, in fact. A healthy amount of libido. That doesn't mean she beds everyone and everything, especially when she's in a committed relationship. We all know how much she gets attached to her significant others after all...
