Ah, there we go.

I've actually dated a redhead with eyes remarkably close to that. They were gorgeous to look at. Your obsession is not misunderstood, Snook ![]()
Every redhead I've ever known has had green eyes, occasionally brown, never blue. It's kinda strange.
Not that anything's wrong with those two colours, of course. :3

Remember when those pre-release screens came out and Leliana's eyes were brown?
I was going crazy. THAT'S RONG BIOWER RONG
That first one reminds me that, despite me liking her spymaster outfit, and not liking the Inquisition uniform much, I did like seeing Leliana's hair properly at the ball...Ah, there we go.

That was the highlight of the ball for me: seeing Leli with her hood down. I like the hood, it's cool, but that ginger hair... And that bobcut is adorable! Long enough to frame her face, short enough to leave her neck exposed for a rub. ![]()
I think you're already aware of my fondness for short haircuts, so you'll hear no arguments from me.That was the highlight of the ball for me: seeing Leli with her hood down. Yeah, she was really pretty there. As much as it would have been cool to see her in a proper dress, she made the whole Napoleonic getup work. With everyone else, it kinda looks like they're about five seconds away from being sniped by Sharpe and Harper. ![]()
Yeah, I've seen some people saying her hair looks a bit weird now, but I like it. Her bobcut is much more like the bobcut I'm more familiar with, cut much shorter around the back and progressively longer towards the front. It's cute. Suits her, too.

And it took me a while to notice it, but her signature braid is still there. She can have whatever hairstyle she wants really, so long as the braid is there it will probably still be 'Leliana' to me. :S
Strangely, Josephine says she's been wearing her hair the same way forever, when she actually did change it a little bit since Origins/DA2. :S
Wonder how she'd look with longer hair...past shoulder length. Hmm...
Well... My wife has had basically the same haircut for the last ten or twelve years, but there is still some variation due to it being cut by different stylists. I could say similar for myself but some of the change is due to male pattern baldness taking its course...Strangely, Josephine says she's been wearing her hair the same way forever, when she actually did change it a little bit since Origins/DA2. :S

Please, don't mention hair...i have never seen so mnay short hairstyles for females than in Inquisition. Even a bald headed...let's not go into that.
A little DLC for new hairstyles would be nice. Or add it into the TBE.

Sadly I don't think it's a DLC-fixable problem. It seems that Frostbite is just rubbish at hair in general. Even among the myriad of styles available there are only two or three that I like for my female characters, and as I say I'm a fan of short hair. Also the beards are pretty rubbish too.
Even the best engines have problems rendering longer hair well. I remember turning on the TressFX hair for Lara in Tomb Raider and it turned a playable game into a slide show, until later when I upgraded my graphics card. Good-looking long hair is a drain on system resources and I think in a cross-generational game like this it fell by the wayside early. Maybe in DA4 you'll have more to choose from...
I don't think Frostbite is entirely to blame. Bioware also made some odd decisions, like having all the options be available to characters of both genders. That might be okay if there were a lot of options, but there aren't. And about half of those options it seems are variations of bald, shaved, or balding.

Indeed, I remember the initial previews we were given of the different race options had some promising hairstyles, so I don't think it's something that can't be overcome, whatever the problems with the engine is. ![]()
Oddly enough I didn't have a problem with the hair when I made my second Inquisitor, a human female, and the first one was a Qunari ![]()

It's not so much the engine that is the problem but the absence of pre-existing assets. Leliana and Josephine's hairstyle are pretty good and some of the hair textures mod are looking very promising. So it's possible. I think it just wasn't a priority.
But yeah, I often forget it was a cross-gen game. Still, it's not unheard of to have some features not available for last gen titles.

Pretty much.
Another oddity is not giving you the option to remove sideburns separately. That's why the No Sideburns mod is so popular. But due to this shared features, sideburns disappear on ALL NPC when you install it.
What is the WOT2 info on leliana?
There was very little about her written in the preview compared to Dorian or Zevran, the only thing worth noting is that she met Marjolaine at a ball when she was sixteen, loved hearing the elves telling her stories about their people and that she started the nug pet trend in Orlais.
Man, the Origins characters are turning out to be younger that we thought. Like, Zevran is friggin 25 in Origins.
I'm willing to bet Leliana is somewhere between 24-26. It seems all of them were intended to be early 20s. And I'm 80% sure by now we'll get some detail about Leliana's parents on her page. Every character's chapter started with their birth and parents' race/nationality. ![]()

Well I'd be happy to see them introduce improved hair styles if possible, or to see interesting mods, but for me, nice-looking long hair isn't going to happen without some serious work on the engine because as things stand the hair is static. Long hair would clip horribly and not move naturally.

well yes flowing and moving long hair is definitely harder to do as it stands. I think having a bit more options and shoulder-length hairstyles variations even if a bit static would please most people though.
Leli be snarky...

Ouch.
