I've always imagined Leliana pampers and spoils the hell out of Barkspawn. Warden won't be the only one glad for a reunion. :S
I'm sure she does. I'm sure he constantly bothers her for treats, if her dialogue with him is any indication.
Probably dressed him up with ribbons and doggie shoes or something on more than one ocassion too, to which the Warden is always all "Damnit he's a wardog!"

I always pick Latin names for dogs. Like Rex or Fido. No imagination. Although I found out recently that the name 'Fido' means 'I am faithful'. It was also the name of Abraham Lincoln's favorite dog.

I always name him elven terms myself, because Mahariel. Bellenaris, Fen, Lethallan, so on...named him Tamlen once...

Owning a usually untamed, mythical breed of creature as a pet is a bit too snowflake-material for my tastes. I like muh dog. Warden does too.
