Hence, I always have the teeth as one of my top things to mod. Not sparkling white, mind you, but a more pleasant hue.
I've heard this story a lot, actually. Lels doesn't even have to try with the seduction game. :S
Well, according to Wynne (even the Warden in one convo), Alistair has bad body odor. That's a deal breaker for a lot of people. ![]()
Seriously though, while both Alistair and Leliana have the 'innocent charm' vibe going, the fact that Leliana has a shady history and a naughty side wins her points from me. Her bad past gives her perspective and her naughty side is fun. ![]()
My Warden resented Alistair for dumping all responsibility on her, so she avoided talking to him when she could. He still wound up liking her for the decisions she made, but Leliana got there first. ![]()

Yeah... That was a very weird decision. White teeth were apparently distracting, but just about everyone found the brown teeth jarring.
And ooh!
I took a break from Inquisition very recently to playthrough Origins again and its filling me with the same euphoric feeling I had upon my first playthrough.
Decided to romance Leliana of course, and it shook me at how her character evolves over the 3 games. My headcannon is that her behaviour is all but a display, and upon re-uniting with my canon Warden, she'll be very much like how she was in Origins. And if anyone doesn't like that, my headcannon, so screw you.
But I decided to pop into this thread to talk about what I wrote above, but never expected to see others post Origins related Leliana in recent posts!

Bless you both.

I'm not sure if you are familiar with Mark Oshiro, but he played Origins and managed to miss Leliana. Then he played her DLC. His reaction is... interesting.

Entertaining guy.
*brofist*
I just replayed Origins too. I'm still having feelings. The Warden/Leliana is still among the top lines of discussion here actually. :S
Lels needs her waifu back badly. ;_;
I think mine tried to resent him at first, like she was with pretty much every Shem, but quickly found him difficult to dislike that much. Even after dumping all of that responsibility on her. While she didn't like it, I reckon she figured out fast that she's probably the more ideal leader then he is. :S
Spoiler tagged due to wall of text. And hardly anything to do with Leliana herself, so forgive me for this lapse :c
I've noticed people who played Origins and then Leliana's Song like Leliana 10x more as a character. It's arguably one of the best DLC's for Dragon Age. It shows that Leliana is a much deeper and layered character than she turns out to be on the surface.
Every friend of mine who's played Leliana's Song, immediately took her as their canon romance in their world state for Inquisition. One friend, who was romancing Morrigan, played Leliana's Song mid-playthrough, and next thing you know he deleted all his saves and started a new game just to romance Lels. X3
I just wanna know if Leliana leaves the Inquisition to return to the Warden as she kept saying she was. The final stretch of the game is so convoluted when it comes to Leliana, on good days I'm all 'WARDEN/LELIANA HELL YEAH ADVENTURES ACROSS THEDAS PART TWO IS OONNNNN BABY YEEEEH' but then the other, negative part of my mind says 'BioWare probably forgot and will just drag Leliana back into the picture for the next game while leaving the Warden in the dust yet again.
'
I just want something...bah.
Nah, considering she is Weekes' canon romance for Origins, he ain't gon let us down. He's going down with the ship. Like the rest of us. ![]()
I'm having fun browsing armor styles. I think Leli would look great in some of these.
That's one thing Leli needs: a Robin Hood hat. With a feather! A blue one to match those horrible shoes I got for her... (I mean the blue satin shoes. Not the ugly boots.)

That kind of looks like Leliana right there, actually. :S
I too could totally get behind Merry Woman-esque Leliana.
I've been thinking about replaying Origins lately but I still can't bring myself to do it. When I started playing DAI I spent the first two hours accidentally attacking all the loot/herbs/minerals I found and jumping on my enemies when I tried to pause the game, I can't go back to the 'old' controls now that I'm finally used to the new ones. DAO will have to wait until I finish my Adaar playthrough ![]()

Luckily, I play DA:I with a gamepad and Origins with the mouse and keyboard, so the controls are drastically different enough that they feel like two entirely different things rather than two sides of the same coin, so to speak...which somehow makes it easier.
I was finding the lack of a jump feature distressing though. ![]()

Ha. His playing is how I found out about the game. He never went into the tavern. Everyone was like Nooooo!!! You missed Leliana!!
Ooh! Steampunk Leliana? Notice the patterns on the collar.

That has to be the ultimate Leliana artwork for you!
(Well at least that is safe for work.

Close, but... The ultimate would be aboard an airship with her and the Warden looking at world from far above. Don't tell me Leli wouldn't love airships. She'd be all over those things.

Would they have flying goggles?
Would they have flying goggles?
Of course! It's not Steampunk without goggles!
I'm not the first to think about Steampunk DA either. Notice the Chantry and Templar people. Look familiar? ![]()
I wish I could draw, because we badly need Leliana as Divine making out with the Hero of Ferelden.
On that note, what title would your PC want if romancing Leliana as Divine, if any? Aside from the "Consort" one that Orlesian party introducers would almost certainly bring up.
