I don't think Morrigan and Leliana really dislike each other anymore.

Her comments about Morrigan imply otherwise. I like to head canon that she acts like hat because my warden romanced them both but chose Morrigan and Leliana is still me about thatI don't think Morrigan and Leliana really dislike each other anymore.

They don't like each other by any means, but Leliana at least grudgingly respects her and how much she's changed by now. She says she used to dislike her, but then talks about how surprised she is about how much she's mellowed out. There's not much indication on how Morrigan feels about her though.
Morrigan was my Warden's sister and Leliana was her lover, so I imagine she'd be pleased to see they're getting along at least a little better in any event.

It's The Witcher 3's lovely deuteragonist (or protagonist apparently by some accounts) Cirilla of Cintra. :3

For my Warden who romanced Morrigan solely, I like to headcanon that Leliana is just infatuated with the Warden (which is probably canon anyway, to be honest) and has nurted something of an unrequited crush on them?

I think if Morrighan is a mother, Leliana softens up to Morrighan abit. Acknowledging that she's a (surprisingly) good mother and that motherhood has changed her for the better.
Morrighan on the other hand seems indifferent towards Leliana. If anything, she likes that Leliana is closer to embracing her "ruthless" tendancies

I always thought she was much younger, like 16. Seriously, how can she be ~30?! That doesn't make sense.

Always boggles my mind how the more vocal buggers on the internet end up taking a side on Witcher or DA and flame the other one. I had forgotten about Ciri being a protagonist in Witcher 3, boy will I be enjoying this game after I'm done with exams in early june ![]()
Anyhow, to get back to Leliana I think Snook's on the mark when it comes to her feelings towards Morrigan. She may not like her as a person, but she at the very least respects her abilities. I dare say it's safe to say she cares about her well being aswell, as there was a War Table banter where she was concerned about Morrigan. ![]()
Of course, this partly hinges on the variables from origins, as Morrigan mellowing out is a result of her becoming a mother. I think the reason we don't see Leliana and Morrigan interact all that much in the game is precisely so that Bioware wouldn't have to deal with said variables from origins, which is a bit of a bummer if true ![]()

Leliana still doesn't trust her, but I think she has warmed to her a lot more since Origins.
Now you mention it, perhaps that's what rubbed Morrigan up the wrong way about her in the first game? That she recognised those ruthless qualities in Leliana and didn't trust her because of it, perhaps thinking (like Marjolaine) that the whole "former bard turned innocent Chantry sister" thing was an act and she was planning something?

Games take place around 5 years after the final book. She's about 21.

Still miffed about little to no Morrigan/Leliana interaction. There was so much potential with the two. ;_;

I think the age fits her, no way she is 30. Haven't played the Witcher 3 yet but I have a feeling Ciri is going to be my most fav. Her and Geralt's father-daughter relationship is one of the highlights of the books in my opinion.
Anyway, Snook, who do you prefer, Triss of Yennefer? arguably one of the most difficult decisions in the third game... :3

Yenn. Ending up with anyone else would feel weird to me from a narrative standpoint.

finally finished the game and got Leliana as nice Divine
as much as one can argue about each Divine's ways and means which is a separate issue I was content with her arc in my story (friend to The Warden) going from bard to sister to spymaster to Divine.
I just hope her reforms don't lead her to harm ![]()

From what (admittedly very little) I know about the Witcher franchise, couldn't Geralt be able to choose both? ![]()
Getting back on topic, one of the things I really liked about Leliana's portrayal in Inquisition is how she doesn't condemn Kieran based on the whole Dark Ritual thing. It would have been easy for the writers to have her hate him, considering he's the product of the Warden's inflidelity (of a sort), but I like that, for all the dark turns she can take in the story, Leliana's wholly unwilling to condemn a little boy for something like that. It was a nice touch.
