Always boggles my mind how the more vocal buggers on the internet end up taking a side on Witcher or DA and flame the other one.

dunno what that has to do with what I said because I don't get into those idiotic mudslinging contests, I just saw what Snook said and immediately lost interest

Part 2.

I love that this makes no sense whatsoever

From what (admittedly very little) I know about the Witcher franchise, couldn't Geralt be able to choose both? :)

Getting back on topic, one of the things I really liked about Leliana's portrayal in Inquisition is how she doesn't condemn Kieran based on the whole Dark Ritual thing. It would have been easy for the writers to have her hate him, considering he's the product of the Warden's inflidelity (of a sort), but I like that, for all the dark turns she can take in the story, Leliana's wholly unwilling to condemn a little boy for something like that. It was a nice touch.

She also holds no hostility towards Morrigan and expresses gratitude towards her, even if it was the Warden she was romantically involved with who did the Dark Ritual.

Then again she's both Orlesian and a former bard, so maybe some open-mindedness is to be expected.

It doesn't have anything to do with you at all, as I was referring to said idiots in general, not you. Apologies if it came off that way though .

Anyhow, I love the idea that Morrigan would mess around with leliana in her raven form .

And meanwhile Kieran's standing off to one side, simultaneously blushing crimson while facepalming;

Kieran: Mother... behave yourself, please!

Leliana's attitude toward the Dark Ritual and Kieran, especially if she's romanced was one of the highlights of her character in Inquisition for me.

Nope. One or the other.

Ah, so the Witcher franchise isn't as depraved as I've been led to believe. Shame :) I wonder what Leliana's position on stuffed unicorns is?  ;)

Very true, I should have considered that. Perhaps as well, the fact that it helped the Warden survive trumps all other concerns?

Agreed, same here.

Just started a new play through for Inquisition with the Black Emporium installed and I haven't even left for the Hinterlands to find Mother Giselle, yet Leliana already knows that Corypheus is the one who started the Breach...way to go Leli. Best.Spymaster.Ever.

This is by far the most broken piece of **** Bioware has ever thrown together despite having literal years and a small fortune to work on it with.

What is? The Black Emporium DLC for Inquisition, or the game as a whole?

Does Leliana and Morrigan ever exchange words with each other in DAI?

You know, it's one thing when you accidentally harden Leliana.

But when you do it on purpose, it just feels like

Right in the feelsuh...especially since it's implied Leliana kills herself right after.

But, seriously, I don't know about you guys, but this is how I headcanon my Warden's death more or less, but without Leliana committing suicide. I always pictured her being the one who will put him out of his misery regardless whether she is Divine/Spymaster. If Divine Victoria I'm sure she'd sneak out of the Grand Cathedral once she hears her Warden has left without saying a proper goodbye and will carry him out of the Deep Roads for a burial fitting for the Hero of Ferelden rather than leaving his body to the Darkspawn/letting him suffer as a ghoul.

We know our Wardens are out there looking for a Cure during Inquisition and the devs have more or less stated the Warden will not show up again so we'll most likely figure out what our Warden is up to via codex/rumors in DA4.

BUT, what if whether or not the Cure is found depends on previous decisions in the Keep (the Warden drank Avernus' potion, let the Architect live, etc.). Or drinking the Cure for the taint is just as dangerous as the Joining where it's unclear who lives or dies.

I headcanon my Warden didn't want to take the risk or wanted to force anyone into it, so he reunited with Leliana and became her Right Hand for the next 19 years or so until his Calling.

The implication is that Leliana impales the Warden and stabs herself with the same knife. Together in death.

That would totally be her style. She's a tragic romance kind of lady.

Indeed it is. In a Leliana romance import with a living Warden, of course.

Hmmm....I wonder if a romanced Divine Leliana may decide to trade up on The Warden...being a big shot and all now, having to move in higher social circles...

If there were a "Big Shot Romantic Partner Trade Value" pamphlet in Thedas, a living Hero of Ferelden would probably be somewhere in the top tier. It's hard to beat "only person to kill a tainted Old God and survive".

They'd be about in the same ballpark as the Inquisitor.

True but I wonder after DA:I if the Grey Wardens need to call in a Public Relations firm to help out after their....well....Adamant was a bit of a PR mess

Won't happen but would like to see a Divine DLC where the gang goes to Orlais to lend a hand to their Divine Victoria

I'd like to see Victoria assassinated and replaced.

I immensely dislike the notion of that subplot.

Perhaps actually on her coronation.

Huh.

There you go Bioware.

I gave you a DLC

I think that the Wardens will just spin the whole Adamant fiasco as being the Orlesian Wardens going rogue and having not been officially sanctioned by Weisshaupt (which is apparently true), which is presumably the same spin they used two centuries earlier after Sophia Dryden's failed rebellion got them kicked out of Ferelden?

From what we can tell, no-one outside Orlais knew what they were upto, nor were any other chapters of the Wardens involved?
