Leliana has been coated in plastic! MORRIGAN YOU MONSTER ![]()
If Leliana turns out to be a descendant of Andraste, I'm going to be disappointed to be honest. Why must cool abilities always come from ancestors? It makes the character seem cheap. They're not special, their ancestor was! Leliana's resistance to the Blight could just be evolution in action. A mutation that took place over time as humanity has become more exposed to the Blight.
I'm not really that up for Leliana being an Andraste descendant to be honest...
I'm not sure how I feel about Leliana being a vessel of Dirthamen theory either but it would be really cool if she had some sort of elven god-like spirit constantly watching over her, not necessarily being possessed by one. Maybe Dirthamen favors her or something... It would explain her surviving the Temple of Sacred Ashes if she was killed.
Oh the irony of Leliana thinking it was the Maker protecting her all along when it really was an elven god. ![]()

Of course, if we go meta it is the Maker protecting her. Bioware being the Maker. ![]()
^ Not surprising, considering she is favored by both the Creative Director and Lead Writer for Dragon Age. :3
Some people say she is a writer's pet like Liara but I never felt the devs from Mass Effect actually ever favored Liara...I'd say that spot goes to Mordin, Tali and Legion.
The main issue with a dead Lieliana is that Bioware had an "****, we need her" moment and decided to handwave it. It's a **** reason to have a murdered Leiliana return as the Warden is not known for being unable to land fatal blows on people. A warrior would have stabbed her in the heart. A mage would have utterly destroyed her body. A rogue would have killed her.
I dislike how her DA:I counterpart is hardened despite the Warden potentially softening her. She seemed to be soft in DA2 during her appearance and she could still be an excellent spy master if she is soft.

Even though the Warden can soften her, something like her mentor and close friend the Divine dying would harden her similar to how a romance with Warden who died would potentially harden her

Don't forget all the things she likely did while serving the divine.
Even the kindest person would become jaded if hey had to do similar things
True, my guess is Leliana likely did things that went against her morals. However, she probably told herself time and again that it was for some greater goal. Then went Justinia died the harsh reality that it may have been all for nothing hit.
I can just imagine the Inquisitor being a real dick about the War Room
Inquisitor: Advisers Assemble!
Cullen,Leilana and Josephine come to the war room
Inquisitor: Advisers disassemble
Repeat until Inquisitor's underthings are found nailed to Skyhold's front porch. A barrels full of daggers, swords and lyrium and rotten fish are blocking the Inquisitor's room. And a special invitation to Ferelden poetry as recited by Barkspawn. All 100 hours of it.
that pic looks more like Leliana hunting down a fleeing Josie and Cullen ![]()
Mac Walters' favourite character is Liara, as far as I know.^ Not surprising, considering she is favored by both the Creative Director and Lead Writer for Dragon Age. :3

How is Tali a favorite? She originally had just a cameo in ME3.

That was the original plan, I don't know whether it was Mac Walters or Casey Hudson who decided Tali was going to be cut off as a companion but then everyone in the Mass Effect dev team were against the idea and wanted her back. She's been mentioned in loads of interviews where Bioware workers are asked about their favorite characters.
There is also an upcoming interview where Weekes talks about what Tali means to him as a character. She is also Gaider's canon love interest in the games and Mark Meer's. (male Shepard's VA)
Mordin and Legion are also favorite characters to some Dragon Age writers as well. ![]()

Wait. That wasn't fan input, that was within the team?
Whoops. My bad.
I think her and Garrus being romances period was fan input
Yeah... I think SOMETHING was fan input. Just not sure what.
I know this isn't about Inquisition Leliana, but does anyone know where I can find a tutorial on making Origins Leliana's robes (basically chantry robes)? I'm planning on cosplaying her.

Yeah, the dev team pushed hard for keeping Tali in the game. Weekes in particular wanted her back.

That often gets repeated on the BSN but he is on record saying Garrus is his favorite character.

Oh, it's about Leliana. It's good enough.
Also, I don't think there are character kits of Origin and 2 characters, so you're probably stuck with in-game screenshots, and possibly concept art. Fan art, if it's accurate.
Good luck!

Oooh. Well, I'm glad for that. I love Tali. And Garrus. They're like the best bro and best sis for more or less any Shepard. (Well, except for the douche!Sheps... or the ones that romance one of them. Then they're the love of their life, remember?)
Well, if this is turning into a ME discussion...
I'll just back away slowly and let myself out.

Ooh! I wonder if the Warden and Leliana have these...
