*pokes head around door* Howdy strangers!  Currently in a quiet period in work, so said I'd drop by again.  Had a lot going on recently, so wasn't around much. How are we all doing? 

 

On topic, I'm still tipping along through my Origins replay. Kind of want another Inquisition playthrough, but am going to wait till payday when I can finally get my XBox One. Leliana deserves current gen graphics.  I see her Wiki has been nicely updated since World of Thedas vol. 2 released. Lots of nice tidbits. Also shows I was more or less right about her age, too, if her mother died when she was four but was alive when they fled Ferelden after the rebellion. Mind, haven't read the books myself yet, so usual wiki pinch of salt applies. But I always like having my fictional timelines in order!

Here's a crazy thought: Leliana really is the reincarnation of Andraste and the Maker allowed Justinia to die because He didn't like what the latter was doing to the former. Or he's a possessive jackass. Or... something.

 

Crazier idea: Leliana really is a reincarnation of Andraste, but she wasn't the faithful Bride of the Maker as believed by the Chantry or she preferred her mortal husband to the Maker. He keeps bringing her back to punish her again and again for two timing with Maferath. I mean, look at all the sh*t she goes through over the series.

And if Leliana romanced the Warden, the Maker sees them as another Maferath/earthly husband/wife she loves more, so he either separates them by death (via Ultimate sacrifice) or if the Warden survives, the Maker tries to keep Lels and her Warden apart as much as possible. (when you think about it, Warden/Leliana have been the Origins couple that has been separated the most. A Warden who doesn't go through the Eluvian with Morrigan doesn't count since, as it is revealed in Inquisition, they aren't together anymore).

 

I have a feeling the Maker would be pissed the most with Divine Leliana when she changes the rules to marry the Warden. She basically disrespects the Maker and shows that her earthly love will always come first.

I'm just bored and toying with ideas. Like how Leliana would react if she saw a unicorn. Or what she would do with the magic mirror from Snow White. Or if she discovered that the Maker is really a pop singer who likes to play ski ball.

Yeah, I'm not 100% keen on Leliana being the reincarnation of Andraste. That said, I'm certain she and my Warden did some Andraste/Shartan roleplaying once or twice

I favor this as well. The Solas reveal was a great twist, but he should be the first and last of our divine companions. It would lose its impact otherwise.

 

The downside of the Solas reveal is now nearly every DA character from now on  have their secret god fan theories. "Sera is Andruil! Leliana is Andraste! Blackwall is the ancient Avvar god of beards!"

 

On second one I now kind of want that last one to be true.

I remember they released a few figures from DAO -  I have a nice Morrigan figure

If making someone call out to the Maker in throws of passion is not heresy, then neither is Shartandraste roleplay.

There's still a bit of confusion about some aspects, but the Wiki has been updated and seems pretty accurate from my playthroughs. Ally with Mages, keep the Wardens in Orlais and sparing Gaspard are the biggest major decisions I think.

Support the mages and criticize the Chantry whenever you can. That goes a long way.

I didn't realise Leliana has priority over Cassandra if they're tied. Much as I love her and think she's the best choice in theory, I don't want her to become Divine. But all those decisions are they right ones for my character and my world state.
