Schmooples was the lost son of the Nug King. It is known. The Idle Dwarf abducted him from his chambers. One day his descendants will have to choose between the throne and Leliana.
It'll be like Game of Thrones, but with nugs.

Sounds better than Season 5 was, at any rate
Nug King for the Iron Throne!
Seriously though, first we got a nug following us around in JOH, now we get the Nug King. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next DLC we met the spirit of Schmooples I in the Fade ![]()

Who is to say that we didn't meet the spirit of Schmooples I during Here Lies the Abyss, masquerading in the guise of the Divine?
In reality, "I'm sorry, I failed you too..." really translates to, "I'm sorry for that time I got into the box of Orlesian chocolates and ended up ruining that expensive duvet cover, due to the resulting upset stomache that followed, Mistress."

The Game of Nugs.
I approve, Snook. That's one hella approvement, right there.
-snip-
Josephine and Leliana are so cute together...They really look like Disney princesses in that artwort.
And a little something of a creepy Cousland watching Leliana sleep.

Edit: Urgh, the quality is so gross...
That picture reminded me that sometimes i like to be mean.

You don't lose approval, she just keeps talking xD

-2 Approval.

Spoiler
I didn't know you didn't lose any approval ; that line is so funny, it reminds of when you wake up finding her watching you sleep and you tell her she's crazy (or creepy ?) and she just laughs about it. It's a pity you don't get much of those kind of conversations in Inquisition.
Also for the second one... So macho, I love it. I can't be such a jerk to any of DA characters...at least during my first playthrough. It's just so mean xD.
I keep wondering why Alistair is the one making supper. I thought Morrigan is supposed substitute for him to keep everyone from getting food poisoning.
Guest_StreetMagic_*
Morrigan will cook if you agree with Alistair about her cooking when/if you talk to her at Flemeth's hut. She also worns that she knows how to mix interesting herbs together so they may wish to take that into consideration lol. Probably safer to stick with Alistair.
Yeah, it's one of the "big choices" early in the game. ![]()
There's a neat little character bit about Leliana at the Winter Palace that I felt had huge implications.
Notice how she's acting more like "Origins" Leliana during the Orlesian ball and talking about slipping into different personas ? Does this mean that Leliana was playing the Hero of Ferelden the entire length of the first game ?

I believe Leliana was sincere in Origins and her more bubbly personality coming out in WEWH was her just playing the game.
Or she was pulling a Thom 'Blackwall' Rainier and pretending so hard to be good she'd believe she was good.

Why would it? I think she was just referring to that moment in particular. Slipping into different personas is part of playing "the Game" and she clearly had fun doing it again for a night, pretending to be nice and polite to all those nobles while judging their fashion choices from a distance (it's even implied in a War Table conversation after you finish the quest). Her softer side is still there throughout the game and not only at the Winter Palace, it's just harder to see for various reasons.

The other advisors:
They all look so stunning I can't decide which one is my favorite. Maybe Josie.
If you romance Leliana her mentions about the Warden are fondly. Also on the Origin's epilogues where the Warden makes the Ultimate Sacrifice, even if you don't romance her or not have high approval she stays near the HoF's grave for a while.
It doesn't seem to be a show, at least her feelings are honest.
^Really love that art from Leliana above.
Kudos to the artist, really nailed the appearance of the characters, especially Leliana where it seems he/she put a little extra effort. The artwork really captures the essence of her character in Inquisition. The raven, the blood, all subtle and nicely done.
And is that a scar under her eye or a tear? I wonder if the artist drew that detail with an Ultimate sacrifice!Warden in mind. ![]()

I think it's just the circumstances of the past decade that has made it harder for her to be like herself... especially if you have the US Warden. If not, she has either been away long enough from her love that she is getting a little "cranky", or doesn't have that period (which seems to point to her being alone most of the time), and then of course the fact that she has been back in the Bard like life having to make hard choices while Justinia pushes her into it.
If you manage to soften her in DA:I, you start seeing and hearing flashes of the lighter, softer Leliana shining through again. She just carried the weight of the world on her shoulders for a long, long time. It's probably a good thing I'm working on a romanced Leliana as Divine this run..... she's going to need the long nights of "relaxation" with the HoF so the stress doesn't get her again!
"Leliana has many faces. When she puts on a new one, she changes all the way down." According to Cole.
In some ways there isn't a real "Leliana", but there isn't a "fake" one either. She makes herself what she believes she needs to be.
(Though DA:O Leliana at least also reflects who she wants to be, which I don't think is true of DAI Leliana.)
I still hold on to the opinion that the Warden and Josie are the only living people who know the real Leliana. What she really is like when all her masks come off.
The fact that Josie is the only person in Inquisition who doesn't seem to be intimidated/scared of Leliana is proof of this. Through banter/messengers you can see Josie is trying to get Lels to chill a little, to get away from her work as an assassin because Josie knows how much it has damaged her.
And has anybody noticed how Leliana looks slightly happier, more relaxed around Josephine?
Now when the Warden appears I bet she gonna do a 180 degrees jump to her loving, Origins self and 95% of the Inquisition members will be like, wut...

Uh-hunh. Tell me, in what city was Leliana captured and abused? Was it Val Royeaux or Denerim?
That picture reminded me that sometimes i like to be mean.

-2 Approval.
Is that the romance dialogue or just high approval?
The romance dialogue is the one after that.
When she says "Silly boy, that was so clunky, try again", my left ear always tingle.
