My romances were:

Cousland warrior & Morrigan in Origins. I aways thought the least Kieran deserved was to have a father in his life.

Male rogue Hawke & Merrill in DA2. I only romanced Merrill for the lack of an better option to be entirely honest, as I didn't liked the other options one bit. Merrill on the other hand was... tolerable.

Male KE Trevelyan & Josephine. This one is more of an placeholder because I wasn't very interested in the other romances. I would actually prefer to romance Leliana in Inquisition, as I consider this game to have an much better character arc for her when compared to Origins. But that likely will never happen. Maybe I'll just import an Inquisitor that romanced no one for future games.

My HoF is an Arcane Warrior that soloed the Varterral and the Harvester on Nightmare. I'd like to see what Leliana's enemies can come up with that he could not take on.

Yeah, the notion that some indignant clerics or reactionary bigots could someone turn a guy who killed a fallen god into a hostage is pretty laughable. And just because softened Leliana is nicer doesn't mean that she's weak. She's still a woman who ran black ops for the Chantry and Inquisition, and can pick the snot out of a man's nose with a longbow at two hundred paces. Just because she doesn't employ force as the first option against any problem doesn't make her a weakling.

Thats the thing i wish that Bioware could write a villain or antagonist that really trancends that what you call bigotry and laughable. Into a enemy you truly FEAR and seem impossible to defeat. Like what the ME team tried to do with HARBINGER. They came really close but fell flat in ME3.

I was not talking about a random enemy like a cleric and so on but to an actuall main antagonist.

This is whats missing from the Dragon age franchise in my opinion.

A antagonist that is written well, that has a voice that sets ice to your spine, whos reach is very long and is a powerfull skilled warrior or mage.

Yeah, I can agree with you on that much. They did a good job with Loghain, Meredith and the Archdemon, but the villains in Inquisition lacked the punch needed to make the conflict engaging. It's a bit hard to be intimidated by Corypheus when his plan is thwarted by an old lady swatting the MacGuffin out of his hand.

That old lady mentored Leliana. Have a care lest the Nightingale hears you...

I hear ya, they're also my favorite female characters and canon romances. ^.^ Every time they interact it's golden...And it's funny how they sometimes order each other around, lol and neither are even slightly bothered by it.

Leliana/Morrigan and Isabela/Merril/Aveline are a close second. Leli and Cass get first place for reasons stated above.

Definitely! I love how Isabella/Aveline insulted eachother, and the relationship between Merrill and Isabela is adorable too (I wonder if Isabella finally thaught Merrill how to take tequila shots  )

And about my romances...

Female human warrior Cousland romanced with hardened Leliana.

Male mage Hawke, romanced with Merrill... I also romanced her because the other ones didn't fit my Hawke (I loved Isabella, but she was more like a bro' to my Hawke)... I thaught Sebastian was boring, Fenris too d4rk and Anders too...extreme (I enjoyed those characters, but I couldn't picture them as a LI). If Tallis was an option, I would have choosed her.

And finally, Male dalish rogue (archer) with Cassandra.

Seeing Leliana Smiling in DAI...

I can't help wondering if Leliana will ever get back at the Inquisitor for hurting/rejecting Josie. My Adaar definitely thinks so and sleeps with one eye open :P

Anybody here watched the leaked new DLC trailer? WIthout spoiling anything I'll only add that it's better than all the Inquisition trailers combined.

And I loved how Leliana had the most appearances in the trailer of all the advisers. I have a feeling Leliana/Cass/Vivienne will have a bigger role because of a certain choice we get to make at the ending of the game... ;)

Though everyone who is a Lelimancer will probably have to hold their breath because....

Honestly as far as the HOF mentions go, I'd be satisfied if it was just a codex entry mention. If Leliana was romanced then we would get an updated codex entry about her rule as Divine and her relationship with the Warden.

Either way, I hope what you said was true, as in there's no Divine yet, since...

Spoiler

I doubt Bioware had enough time to write down two paths for Leli/Cass/Viv, Divine/no Divine.

She's going to play a big role in this one. They recorded new VO's for her.

I doubt we will get anything regarding HoF. Bioware doesnt want to deal with it.

Biowares status quo regarding heroes are that they disappear forever never to be heard again. Except for hawke i guarantie that they will try bring back their lovechild

So now two years later big surprise warden is still out there looking for the cure.

Da4. Still out there searching.

Da5 still searching

DA4 Plot Twist :- If you leave Hawke in the Fade, he/she fuses with the Nightmare demon and you have to fight a boss battle to kill it. You will get the Champion armor / robe set as loot.

The trailer says the DLC will release on the 8th of September, not far now. Leliana appears multiple times in the trailer, I have a feeling we'll see her working a lot more with Cass than the other two advisers. I guess part of the reason might be because both Cass and Leli are tied to the Divine choice.

BTW, heads up, people are already complaining on tumblr why Leliana isn't traveling with the Warden now...I'm sure Bioware is gonna use a lame excuse, still searching for a cure/has business in Ferelden, etc... But then again Bioware positively surprised me with the Warden/Leliana mentions in the game so I'll hold my opinion for now...

I get it if people are distrustful but actual complaints about this are a bit premature, especially if based on a single trailer. How can they draw conclusions on Leliana and the Warden when she was barely there? It's not like we know trailer!Leliana's relationship status... and by the way isn't the HoF dead in Bioware's "default" world state? It would be like saying "Hey, my Inquisitor is a mage! Why is she a warrior/rogue in this trailer?" There are too many variables surrounding them, I suggest we wait and see before complaining. My guess is that if there really is Warden-related content in this DLC there's no way they would hint at it in a trailer (reasonably) focused on the Inquisitor.

I agree. And it turns out their complaints were for nothing since in the new Game Informer article it says the companions/advisers will rejoin the Inquisitor for one final adventure. Depending on how you finished their personal quests, your followers may not appear at all or won't feel connected to the Inquistor on a personal level to rejoin them. The advisers show up regardless their personal quest's conclusion since they're too important, especially Leliana who can be Divine and Mike Laidlaw said whoever is Divine will join the Inquistor regardless. So if romanced Leliana rejoined the Warden like she said she would she comes back 2 years later because she herself said that the Inquisitor is a friend and she'll always be there for them. I'm more hopeful for romanced Leliana content if she wasn't made Divine though even if the Inquisitor can catch up with her no matter which path you choose for her.

Right now I'm just glad Leliana is there at all, unlike JOH and The Descent. I'm pretty sure there are characters we won't ever see again after this DLC and Leliana could be one of them, so in this "last adventure" I'd rather have her without the Warden than neither of them. Maybe this way we can get a proper closure.

Just... please don't die, Leli
