Either way, Morrigan really needs to consider new clothing options by this point in time.
Thedas requires a Hugo Boss.
So, hire whomever designed templar armor?

Can we all take moment and appreciate that Cecile (Leliana's guardian after her mother died) wrote in her Will and Testament that Leliana will be the owner of her Villa after her death?
Leliana wasn't Cecile's kin, but it's heartwarming that she truly saw Leliana as a daughter/granddaughter and loved her unconditionally. It's good to see there was an influential person in Leliana's life who didn't lie to her or use her. Besides the Warden and Josephine that is. Everyone else either died or betrayed her.
Funny how Leliana didn't mention a Villa or anything like that in Origins. A very likely conclusion is her writer didn't plan that far ahead or relatives of Cecile stole it from Leliana and kicked her out.
Wait, so it was actually Cecilie who left her the villa?
I found no trace of this in the game, and assumed Leli had bought it on her own a few years after the Blight because of the fond memories she still had of that place.

I assume it wasn't really her's anymore at that point seeing how she was wanted in Orlais after the whole Marjolaine incident.
All of her stuff was probably returned to her after she got a pardon by Justinia I'm guessing
^ Yeah, that seems a very likely theory. While Leliana was still working with Marjolaine there is a chance she hid the documents from Leliana about her inheritance.
If you've played Leliana's Song you will notice how many times Marjolaine refers to Leliana as her property, as a thing she owns and Marjolaine even says during one cutscene how thanks to her, Leliana got off the streets. So yeah, if not Cecile's relatives, Marjolaine kept the inheritance secret from Leliana so she can be fully under Marjolaine's mercy.
And of course, then there's Leliana being wanted in Orlais and she probably got pardoned for her crimes after she decided to become Justinia's Spymaster. If you've read her message about her nugs in the rookery in Skyhold you get the impression Leliana has her own house by now.
Though I headcanon the house where she keeps her nugs is a house she has in Val Royeaux, formerly Justinia's home before she became Divine. Leliana's Villa is a little too far from the Grand Cathedral for Leliana to travel on a daily basis.
When choosing the Divine, the gossip at Skyhold/Val Royeaux is no indicator that Vivienne is going to be Divine. Maybe the devs intended it that way at first, but it's bugged.
As of Trespasser, I love both versions of Leliana. I like how they fleshed out the two sides of her personality more and both choices have their good and bad side. It's not all black and white.
Fun times with Leliana and Morrigan:
This sums up their relationship so well ![]()
Fanart of Leliana and Morrigan where they're not making out?! Heresy. ![]()
Well unfortunately I haven't seen that kind of fanart around lately ![]()
I can see why people like the pairing; they're both gorgeous women, so naturally you want to see them take each other's clothes off.
But putting aside the fact that Morrigan may be the most heterosexual woman in all of Thedas, I can't imagine two people LESS inclined to lust after another. Maybe Blackwall/Vivienne? Cole/Sera? Merrill/Varric? Oh yuk, that last one made me vomit a little in my mouth.
Very interesting theory. It's less about Leliana and more about the Titans vs. Evanuris, but it's worth the watch. This is one of my favorite theories along with Kirkwall being the place where the magisters entered the Golden City and Skyhold as the place where Solas created the Veil.
I think even if she wasn't killed in Origins, Leliana still had some kind of a connection to the lyrium. I think her resistance to the Blight in In Hushed Whispers has something to do with that connection.
Maybe Leliana wasn't tripping in Origins after all. When she said that the Maker spoke to her, what if said Maker is actually a Titan who spoke with her through lyrium. Since I doubt Lothering had any substantial amount of lyrium, maybe Leliana, unbeknownst to her, had an exposure to red lyrium prior to Origins and her dream was actually a lyrium-infused dream from the Titans.
Leliana's dream urged her to help the Warden stop the Blight which is the Titans' prime motivation thus making her an agent as it is said in the video.
You're right, it is interesting. I wonder if this also has something to do with the cryptic phrases ("The Stone lives beneath Orlais" and "Mathas gar na fornen pa tot isatunoll") Leliana found written in Tug's things and desperately tried to understand/translate.
Overall though I admit I'm conflicted about this. I don't really want to start questioning everything Leliana said or did in three games just because of a few slides from an epilogue many players won't even get. She's too complex to be reduced to a mindless puppet who only did what the Titans told her in order to subtly guide us in the "right" direction.
Honestly? Not everything has to tie in to some overarching metaplot. There are plenty of good stories to be told in the Dragon Age setting without bringing in the Titans/Flemeth/Elven Gods into the mix, and it really cheapens all the good Leliana has done in Origins or beyond if she just ends up being a Titan's puppet.
Until we get more information regarding the Titans or Evanuris in DA4 it is still fun to speculate. It'd be kind of awesome if we'll have to choose a side in the next game. Join the Titans / let Solas tear down the Veil / stay loyal to the Inquisitor's group.
Tbh, I find this theory about Leliana being an agent much more plausible than her being Andraste reborn/her descendant or the vessel of Dirthamen.
And I'm not saying all the good things Leliana did in the games is because the Titans/Maker told her. I think that once a person is exposed to lyrium, the Titans can read the individuals inner thoughts and wishes, in Leliana's case, her desire to help people in order to reciprocate for all the wrongs she did as a bard (as she says so in Origins once you raise her approval).
Imo, that's the first and only time Leliana heard the Titans' song. In Inquisition, her faith is shaken and she doesn't even believe in her dream anymore or that it was the Maker who spoke to her.
This is one of my favorite theories along with Kirkwall being the place where the magisters entered the Golden City
It's not, though. Apart from everything else, there are no Claws of Dumat in Kirkwall.
The Lyrium Leli epilogue slides imply something of a supernatural connection with her birds, but her special connection with her birds seems to exist even when she wasn't killed, going by the Baron Plucky codex.
Of course, it could just be that she's good with animals
She's Ferelden, that's why. XD
Though a common gossip in the rookery is that Leliana uses blood magic for her ravens to love her. Yup, all this time Leliana was hiding her magic from us.
Ya'll wanted a mage adviser at the War Table? Here you go...

See? Blood magic isn't all that bad ![]()
Lately, I've been thinking about writing a story featuring Leliana and Cyrion discussing her relationship with the Warden, so I have to wonder: how do you think the families in each Origin would respond to Leliana being the Warden's lover? No doubt the Sabrae clan would be fairly scandalized (Merrill aside).
I think of all the origins, Tabris' and Cousland's family are the ones that would warm up to Leliana the most quickly.
Then there's Mahariel's and Aeducan's family.
I did write a story once that mentioned what happened when Tabris explained Leliana to his father. Cyrion ended up getting very drunk.
Here's an interesting video I found:
