But she might return in DA5, maybe ten years older, depending on the timeframe.

Well, you can always ask the Warden. I'm sure he/she is the only person in Thedas who knows what's under that chain mail. And the only one who won't get flogged by Leliana for trying to find out.

I'm just sure Leliana wouldn't stay silent and unresponsive if someone dared make a move on her or nose into her personal space.

 

If anything, Leliana is an extremely loyal partner. I can't imagine her cheating on the Warden or anyone she's romantically involved with.

I have yet to see a good fan art of Sigrun. It's a pity she didn't get much attention.

The Warden is also the only person in Thedas who complains about her armor being a little too impenetrable at times

But yeah, my guess is that she does wear a onesie. With a nug embroidered on the chest. The Warden has a similar one but with a griffon on it.

I headcanon Leliana had her spymaster garb commissioned after the Warden departed on their quest, so when the Warden returned to Skyhold to reunite with Leliana for some alone time they had no effing clue where to start unbuckling her armor.

 

It got worse when she became Divine. Imagine the Warden's horror finding out Leliana was fully armored beneath her Divine clothes.

Headcanon accepted! If Cassandra can hide a sword under her Divine robes Leliana can certainly wear at least a onesie leather armor. Too bad that horrible hat didn't allow her to keep the hood as well

I've always had trouble pairing her with my males (but I still try), but Mage.. both male and elf.. work well for me. It even has some nice parallels with Jowan and Lily.

 

I also like her with my new CE male (although female CE is my favorite).

I found Leliana to have more chemistry with my Mahariel than my Cousland Warden.

 

I don't know why, I always had the feeling Leliana has a bigger disposition toward elves and mages than humans. She just clicks with an elf more.

 

I'm not surprised there isn't much Leliana x m!Warden on tumblr. Every time someone posts fan art with them people call it rape-y and condescending. Yeah, we get it, Leliana was tortured and raped by Raleigh's man in the DLC but that doesn't mean she has to hate every Ferelden male she meets because of that trauma.

 

If we look at it that way, then Leliana shouldn't be in a relationship with a female Warden either because of Marjolaine's betrayal.

 

Come on, Leli's not a shallow person.

I guess it always defaults to F!Warden for me with her because I've always played games where the male is the default. I've kinda put the male anythings in DA in my horse blinder zone because of it. But I certainly don't knock those that romance Leli with a male...I mean she's bae so let's all be happy and get dat Bard love lol

*edit* and I will say that I did attempt romancing her with a M!Warden and it...didn't happen organically for me. There was a disconnect within the dialogue and I kept waiting for that feeling of bae-ness to overwhelm me or somn but it never happened.

It was my first playthrough that I had a male, so the feeling was there for me at least. Just because it was fresh... (and I was probably more focused on Leliana than the pairing itself). I kind of grew into seeing her blend well with the female Wardens later.
