Cat's right. You really should play Trespasser. Turns out that once Corypheus is dead and the big hole in the sky is gone, the Inquisition's power is more illusory than it appeared...
Oh and we still don't know if the dark ritual will have any consequences. I'm guessing that if it does they won't be huge, but presumably Solas is currently in control of the old god soul in DR world-states.
I'm more in the US ending camp, so I guess that'll be avoided if I ever carry on with this. My prob is already feeling the illusion right away. And as much as I'd like to play a sincere character that's tied into the context of the game -- it doesn't really matter. The game reacts the same way if I didn't do that too. How do I believe in a character with everything handed to them and all judgement deferred to them, no matter what? This might be a fantasy for some, but I don't know how to find that in myself.
And lastly, the Inquisition itself didn't stand for anything substantial. They never had never any believable power to begin with, just for having such a wide open door policy. It's nothing like the old Inquisition or Seekers. It's just some catchall fantasy group, like most of their stuff. They should've just written another story if that's what everyone wanted.
