It's amusing to see how this scene was a true transition between the way Leliana's VA played her in DAO and how she does it in DAI.

Of course, she already sounds more like the spymaster we know now, but sometimes the fluffier and higher pitched voice she had in DAO still slips out.

What first made you love Leliana? For me, it was her past. I saw her as an annoying preacher at first, but as I learned her back story, I began to saw her as a flawed woman who is struggling with her identity and is too easily swayed by the people she grows attached to. That made her very sympathetic to me. It's hard to find your place in the world, especially the DA world. I wanted to be there for her and help her.

 

I still wish the dialogue options in DAO had included something like : who do you want to be? Don't let others define your personality. In the end, you're the one who has to live with your choices. Do what is right for you.

 

Leli baby needs to be more independent.

I don't feel like you necessarily tell Leliana what to do in DAO. But the more neutral dialogue options like "You've tried to help people. That means something" tend to lead her to the softened ending.

I know, but some of them are pretty much 'do what I say', and so are all of them in DAI. Although we are her boss in DAI... It's so weird to have her as a companion and then as an underling. I know, different PCs, but same player and all.

What made me first love Leliana was her socially liberal attitude which took me by my surprise. Add this to her desire to help people, her campfire tales, her love of nugs, her natural redheadedness and it was easy to pick her over Morrigan.

Frankly, she was my one and only option. But when I romanced her on my elf mage, I realized that we had a very good connection; Leliana could effectively be my morality pet and an effective foil to my Surana, who was a blood mage and would have been happy to do darker things for power (like defile the Urn of Sacred Ashes and keep the Anvil of the Void) were it not for Leliana's restraining influence. And Leliana found greater freedom with her, so it was overall an excellent dynamic.

I'm not a fan of her trailer concept either. The redesign for the game was so much better.

Hmm...I think Leliana would find qunari attractive. She had no problems with humans, elves, and dwarves and has always come off as the type who cares about personality far more than looks. I suspect her porn collection would be erotic art and stories, and not the stuff you find on websites advertising HOT GIRL ON GIRL S**T ANAL MILF ******.She probably has better taste in porn than Sera.

It was based off an actual model. But she wasn't 15. I hope not
