I'd rather see Leliana model underwear.
Rofl. Ah BC, don't ever change. ![]()

I've been spending too much time in the ME:A section, it's all about the hair this week. I actually had a bald she-elf HoF in one of my playthroughs so that scene brings back memories. Sorta smooth Lels. ![]()
Sisters of Mercy, obviously!
Ah, Sisters of Mercy... that fits so perfectly.
The intro of "Alice" would be her strutting into camp music. ![]()
Greetings,
I wonder how Leliana would act / react to a Warden that is helpful and good / neutral, but one who is not a big fan of the Chantry or Maker for legitimate reasons (such as the lack of consistency and how they have treated mages as well as Elves) ?
Would she like him / her ? Would she come to love him / her ? I ask because her romance arc in Origins is not like Cassandra's where there is a slight difference if your Inquisitor who pursued her is not an Andrastian compared to one where he is Andrastian.
This is because I plan to do an Elven Circle Mage playthrough (sex undecided) who is not a fan of the Chantry for what they do to mages and Elves.
Cheers.
Marjolaine was nuttier than a brick shithouse. If she'd been smart, she'd have hired her hit squad at a location other than her hideout. In doing so, she gave Leliana the means to track her down.
A good point, but her hit on Leliana was really just a provocation, a means to lure her to Denerim where she could be disposed of. Marjolaine even outright states that at one point, if I recall correctly.
Why are people responding to tks? He clearly will never change his opinion and he advocates baby killing as a legitimate way of dealing with mages. If someone seriously advocates that, why bother trying to debate them?
Agreed, don't feed the creature that lives under the bridge!
Yeah, arguing with TKS is boring.
Indeed. Might as well debate with a wall, or a Bernie Bro.
So how 'bout that Leliana, eh?
She's purdy ![]()
That Leliana be revolutionizin' the world.
DA4 better not troll us with "Yeeaaah, those changes in the Chantry and for the mages didn't work out so well".
Given Bioware's pretty poor track record of reflecting the consequences of player choices lately, I wouldn't be surprised if it was all wallpapered over. Which is a shame, as there's lots of great stories you could tell involving Leliana reforming the Chantry, but it won't be the first awesome plot thread they end up dismissing.
I'd rather see Leliana model underwear.
Now that's something we can all agree on! ![]()

Haven't done an anti-Chantry Mage playthrough myself, so I'm a bit fuzzy on the details. But that being said, Leliana's faith is generally strong enough that she doesn't require other people to validate it, and she's not foolish enough to think that only her fellow believers possess any virtue, or those that don't believe in the Maker are bad people for that reason alone. As long as your character was a good person overall, I think she'd still be capable of falling for him, or even just respecting him as a person and a friend.

How does one max Leliana's approval without romancing her?
The conversation options give you just so little and bringing her along for goody-two-shoes quests isn't enough on its own.
... you can not romance Leliana?
Gifts. DA:O approval is all about gifts, really. Flowers, shoes, nugs, religious imagery. Maybe some moldy cake and a ball of yarn if you feel like it. There are three sets of Andraste's Grace flowers to be found in Redcliffe Village, West Brecilian Forest and the Elven Alienage, each of which will give you a lot of approval.

Give her gifts. Especially andraste's grace. You can find one in Redcliffe village.

Morrigan is in the game so obviously you can never romance Leliana.
