I think they are supposed to be inside of an enclosed tent, the game just doesn't reflect the writing.
If you have the Warden carrying on simultaneous romances with Morrigan and Leliana, one of the confrontation scenes for Leliana has her saying that she saw the Warden and Morrigan going into a tent together. She thinks the Warden and Morrigan were having sex but doesn't know for sure, which obviously wouldn't be the case if was inside the shabby no walls tent we see behind Morrigan in the camp.

I was just being silly. On the other hand, this puts Leliana's accusation that Morrigan 'sounds like a genlock being murdered' in a different light. Gingers can be so catty. 
The cat fight dialogue is among the best in the whole game. Shame it was cut.

I don't think Scribbles is shorter than Sera. She is just standing farther back from the table. The distance from the table is affecting perception of height.

It is hard to tell because Leliana isn't standing up straight. She has one of her legs kicked forward. That might be making her look a little bit shorter than she is.

I would say if Sera and Leliana were standind side by side, Leliana would be about an inch taller. Why I say that? It appears Leliana is leaning forward just a little bit whereas Sera is standing straight up.
It's not slim, slender, or svelte. Its earliest meaning was 'resembling skin' and later it suggested someone was bony or emaciated; it wasn't until the 20th century that it gained positive connotations.
Interesting... But I think Morrigan was implying that Leliana was flat chested, not that she looked bony. 'Skinny like a boy', not just 'skinny'.
