The sweetest dialogue might be the eyelashes in jars comment. It's so bizarre you know it's sincere.
Though her getting angry at you for making her declare her love is also pretty good.

I managed to get it in the vanilla game.

The best part of that one is the 'shut up' kiss.

That scene has some wonderful options - I love the way she responds to the tease the Warden makes about her being all crazy now.
"Crazy now? Liar - you thought I was crazy the first time you met me." The delivery is just perfect, as is the chuckle she gives at the end.

So, is she going along with what seems to be the Chantry's reactionary kick following the obliteration of Justinia?

I would have liked a tone indicator back then. I never picked that option because I thought it was serious.
The save/reload function is your friend. I did a playthrough once where I saved everytime I talked to Leliana so I could test all her lines. There's nothing you can say on the morning after that will upset her. She's still basking in the glow. ![]()

It was the same for me with one line that the Warden can say to Morrigan. Originally, I though it was an agressive response, when in fact it was supposed to be funny

The first time I clicked it just on a lark - my friend was playing the game and I'd made sure he just quicksaved. The line turned out much better than I thought, but yes, a tone indicator would have been good.

She seems darker and angrier. I can't imagine her hating mages, wanting to forcibly convert groups like the Dalish, or advocating violent and reactionary policies. As she's our covert adviser, I suspect she'll be more interested in subterfuge and information gathering with the occasional assassination.
But I don't know. I'm really interested in seeing how much of her former character she retains and to what extent she changes.

I don't believe I ever saved and reloaded with Leliana as we got along well. I only did that with Morrigan and Sten as those conversations could be tricky.

I'd better! I spent hours customizing these cheekbones.

If she's with the Inquisition then she's not really going along with the Chantry.

Argh. I'd love to go through Leliana's romance again, but I don't know if I can stand playing the entirety of DAO for it.

Actually, you just made me think about something: we assumed so far that the people responsible for the Breach were pro-mage extremists, but what if it was pro-Chantry extremists? They use the Breach as a way to discredit mages and bring the Chantry back to even more power? They could use that situation as an excuse to terminate anyone who shows signs of magic ability as soon as it manifests. I wonder how Leliana would feel about that...

Wasn't the Inquisition Justinia's backup plan all along?
It was.

True enough, but then it's not my Warden. Sorry, I can be picky.

I'm curious how extensive our relationship with Leliana will be in Inquisition.
I know that she is not romanceable, but do you think that we will be able to cultivate a friendship with her, or will she just be the distant spy master who lurks in the shadows all the time?
