TSM, Do you still have the morph? Want to share? The project page has room for files ;)

Oh, and we will need to use your Connor is not an elf fix too.

Is there any way to retexture the Amaranthine noble dress to make it cream or white? Can we use it for the wedding dress? Thank you

Zola, I sent you a new message with the module properties and string IDs

I downloaded it, thank you!! I'll ask her for permission to use it for the wedding dress of the wardens :D

I don't care what Anora wears ... but it will be something different.

Luna, I uploaded the Oswyn morph to the project page. *points over there*  :P

This is what the white dress looks like in a fast-and-sloppy standalone version. If the skin tint is off (and I think it is) I don't know how to make it better. /modder fail and the perils of cobbling things together from disparate sources

I sent a message to Serissia asking about using the white dress for the wedding. It does not look like she has been around for a few years. Hopefully we will hear from her and get the permission needed.

OMG, TSM that dress is beautiful!!! I hope she gives her permission!!!

TSM, any vanilla noble outfit will work for Oswyn. Thank you so much. I'm going to check Nexus to see if Serissia answered about the dress.

Yes, the Eleanor and Bryce portraits will be visible in some of the shots :)

She has not been heard from since 2010. What do you think, use the dress, give her credit? It's not like we are doing anything with it except using it. :(

She didn't specify anything re permissions on her BSN uploads, but on one of her Nexus mods, the description includes the following:

I don't really actively mod or play DA:O anymore and thus can't guarantee that I'll be around to answer any questions that you may have.

Anyone is free to use any of my files in whatever way. Enjoy!

It's probably a little grey because two different site are involved, but as long as she is credited, I think it should be okay. I'd welcome other opinions on this, though.

That's good news TSM, I never read the description on her mods! I do read the description on your mods however... and they always make me laugh :D

I'm going to work in the toolset in a few. I added Connors fix and Oswyns utc/morph files to the module. I should be able to access them now. Thank you so much!!!

What outfit do we want Alistair to wear? I was thinking something like RLs Kirkwall Emporium by RogueLass Vow of Pride without the hood. 3906-5-1379400293.jpg

TSM..what did you name this dress? I'll add it to the list of clothing. Will it work for Elves and dwarfs too, or should I find something else and just use this for the humans?

I haven't started on the real white wedding version yet; I just renamed the textures and slapped them on top of one of the other versions, to make the screencaps. Let's see... It will be Amaranthine Wedding Dress. The UTI will be tsm_gw_wed_dress.uti. *writes that down so I don't  forget 'cos my brain leaks like a sieve*

The dress can be worn by human, elf, and dwarf characters (the mesh is the same as all the DAO noble dresses) and setting it up for all three races is no problem.

Is that enough to get you started? I'll be away from the computer all day tomorrow, but I'll try to knock out the files today... failing that, I'll block out some time on Monday.

Thank you TSM, there is no hurry. I was just wondering about the name so I can put it in the lists. What do you think Alistair should wear? Any ideas?

That's weird.  Just last night I asked RL for a version with a purple sash.  You know where that's going.

What really stand out is the 'skin collar' on the outfit.

*nods* That's a "once you notice it, you can't unsee it" thing for me, too... it doesn't seem to bother most people, though, and when they do ask about it, I tell them to complain to Bioware about their odd notions regarding texturing.

Hmmm... Let me think about that.

I'm thinking... would it be completely inappropriate for Alistair to wear a Grey Warden outfit for the wedding...? It would hold significance in that he is still with the Grey Wardens, and this being a Grey Warden wedding....

I quite like the mods that used the warden outfits from DA2...

I'm thinking something like this?

Spoiler

To me, getting married in heavy armor is not really.....comfortable?

I would like to see something soft, like noble leather armor retexured by TSM. Like the one on the right. Or the left without the knife.3725-1-1365221783.jpg

Hey, could we have an option for Alistair? A choice of different armor/clothes? Set one as default and make the other an override?

Actually, that makes it kind of look like netting/mesh for the top of the dress... I would be okay with that look.

That would work. In fact, that's how DahliaLynn handled his outfit for the Royal Wedding mod: the Kal'Hirol-style DAA  armour as the default, packed in the DAZIP, with the red-and-gold-and-white amour as an optional override. The dress for the bride is handled similarly.

We can plan on having the choices. The only problem with heavy armor is the clipping during kiss scenes.

*seizes the thread back from the coordination crowd to babble about clothes ;) *

Just checking in to say that I THINK I have the files for the dress done - human, elf, and dwarf - but I still need to check them in-game. I'll try to finish that bit up tomorrow.

Not sure if input is still sought or no, on what Alistair might wear, but I did give that some thought (and with apologies for all the images), andof the things already suggested, I think the retextured Orlesian noble hunting armour would be very appropriate, and coincidentally, since it the one in the image Luna chose, I suggest using either the texture I called "Highever"... the dark green cape is very flattering with Alistair's colouration (IMO),

DAOrigins-2013-04-05-18-29-27-187_zpsa9a

or the blue one I called "Cousland", since it echos the Warden blue armour, without BEING the Warden blue armour. (If that makes sense...)

DAOrigins-2013-04-03-09-56-05-781_zps7e9

To include the armour in your archive, you'd need permission for the textures from Setiweb, as the "curator" of Aremeta's mods... The mesh/model, would either require Kirkwall Exports or permission from Amycus to distribute a standalone, retextured version of the port. (Something I was not able to obtain when I requested it, YMMV.)

For a more amour-y armour, and one that is more Ferelden,  the vanilla Scale armour is visually attractive, a bit ornate, and the small pauldrons might not be a problem with the hugs-and-stuff.

daorigins2013-11-0623-49-49-68_zpsc53f78

Sans the helmet, of course... That's a test shot from my attempt to re-colour the set.

*hands things back to the coordination folks*  :D

I LOVE the Cousland Blue armor, omg I love it!!!!! :D

That has to be my favorite one (since my Alistair morph has blue eyes. LOL)

I am really tired tonight, so my brain is not working, but I'll read this again tomorrow.

Thank you so much :)
