I wanna know how they work. Do we buy one from a stable? Set it in CC or options? Are they hanging out together in a paddock and we just pick one?

From the name "Bog Unicorn", I'm guessing they're going for the realistic/nasty variety Maybe something you'd see in a M:TG card. Pickles the Stinky Rainbow Unicorn is best pony, it is known....

Possibility of Easter Egg Unicorn Mounts, but we'll see.

So...when I think bog unicorn, I think a hippopotamus with a single horn.  I'm actually okay with that, though I'd prefer an actual hippo mount.

Something big and badass would be my hope.  Unicorn sounds fantastical and pretty, but bog sounds dirty, dark, and disgusting.  I'm hoping for a large, black unicorn covered in wooden armor made from the dead trees it grew up around.

You know what a bog is, yes? It's not dirty, dark, or disgusting. It's wet ground that can't support much weight. It's only the ground around it, as well. The surrounding area of a bog can be beautiful, even if the ground doesn't support too much weight.

I thought that too, but it is a "Bog Unicorn" and is supposed to be unique, so maybe it will cool?

 

It could be based on a Kelpie, at least that is the assumption I am working under.

I honestly hope the only thing a Bog Unicorn has in common with "our" Unicorns is that they both have a horn on their head.

 

I'm thinking anorexic Rhino, to like a horse equivalenmt of a bearskarn/blightwolf. Take the fantasy animal and make it horrifying. The red halla sounds like the deer from mononoke.
