Also, did anyone notice how many frickin people were around the Inquisitor's table? Apart from the confirmed companions. Omfg, it seems like we will have plenty of companions, and a lot of sexy ones at that!!! Huehueheuhue....

Methinks we will have 9 companions available for a adventuring party, but a lot of advisors who we can interact with, even if they don't adventure with us.

Always loved spirit warrior, but technically it was a one-off, unless we get somebody else in the party who is spirit-possessed.

Cole might be a Spirit Rogue spec

Maybe Tempest is like a rogue-mage cross class?

I hope this means Force mage spells are moved out of a specialization and are just another talent tree. But I'm super happy to see the return of an arcane warrior and the Champion specialization!

Yes I hope we still have force mage skills, I loved that tree. Necromancer to me could be a combination of blood and entropic mage. Have no clue about rift mage.

It's not gotten rid of. I'm sure there will be blood mages in the game - some enemies, perhaps some allies. Blood magic is part of the lore.

It's just not going to be an available PC specialization.

That's what I meant, as a PC spec

For all we know Blood Magic could be available, just not a dedicated specialization. And healing will be available to any Mage.

Knight Enchanter has a really cool icon, that helm looks ace :P

So, Knight Enchanter is the melee mage (i wonder if they can wield greatswords too?), Necromancer is here finally, and Reaver is back.

What to choose, what to choose?

Also, it's really good that Blood Mage and Spirit Healer are not dedicated specializations. It doesn't mean the magic they wield is not available, however. So don't be quick to be dissapointed.

I doubt Bioware is gonna take away from you Healing and Blood Magic so easily. Healing is still there for you, probably as a tree, and Blood Magic... Who knows, a tree? An ingame power? Necromancer is actually a summoner Blood Mage?

We'll have to see.

According to the website, just one specialization out of three.

Hopefully that can be circumvented (like in DA:O) because only one is a tad boring (at least for me) - cheats FTW (note: no, I don't play in Godmode or something like that - takes away the fun (no adrenaline if you know you can't die and say go after a dragon))

greetings LAX

I personally like only one specialization. And it's possible the Necromancer is a combination of Blood Mage and Spirit Healer, because just being a blood mage wouldn't be viable due to no regenerating health, and in D&D Necromancy magic dealt with both life and death so it's a possibility.

Nice. Knight Enchanter seems like an alternative AW. It's description that mentions inspiring sights partly reminds me of the same tidbit in DAO's Champion's spec description. I wonder if it'll contain all of Champion's party buffs whereas Champion now seems like it's a full on tank spec? Artificer is obviously a sapper spec. I'll probably name my Artificer specced rogue Fiddler or Hedge. Hopefully Tempest's and Rift Mage's spec description will be revealed soon.

Imo blood magic will just be a non-specialization tree this time around.

Well I'm intrigued about the Knight Enchanter and Rift Mage, but I am sad to not see a Bard or something similar to it for the Rogue. Farewell blood mages, you will not be missed. Playing DA 2 made me grow tired of blood mages rather quickly.

I'm super curious about Rift mage and tempest. I hope that force mage spells are still in the game in some fashion, because it was easily my favorite spec in 2.

Loving all the new news, blood Mage/magic is probably just a skill tree, or an option earned through the story. We do have one of the 2 remaining *forbidden ones* running around thedas remember
