In the newest trailer, at 1:11, Varric says, "Might wanna watch yourself, --. It's raining demons out here."

 

Was he about to say Hawke's name, or are they protecting other spoilers?

It didn't sound like he was about to say anyone's name. A cut between two sentences is an often used trailer cliche.

I think he was referring to the inquisitor. I think that's where we first meet varric.

I don't think he was about to say any names. I agree with KC this seems like the place we meet up with Varric since you can plainly see the Inquisitor in the background standing up as if they were just knocked on their arse, hence the "watch yourself".

I wouldn't expect to find every line spoken in the trailer in the game. In the case of both DA2 and ME3, there were lines and scenes that changed between the demo and the full game. And by now, there's still a couple of months of iterations to go before the game is sent to certification.
