I'm going to Pre-order (Partially, I only ever fully commit when some critical reviews come out), and hopefully make it to the Midnight.

As for the Pre-Order items, I share an opinion with Youtube Personality Totalbiscuit in that Pre-Order items should be aesthetic, not "Pay for Power"... This looks to be the latter, so I probably won't even be installing them. (I'll redeem the code just because they expire eventually)

These weapon options and such are very much like what they've done for other DA games and Mass Effect.  I've never said, "I don't know how I would have finished that game without [insert DLC gear here]" or "WOW! Did that make [difficult battle/stage] easier".

For example, the "Collector Assault Rifle" for the MP in ME3.  It was cool, but nothing compared to other non DLC weapons.

I get the feeling EA has given exclusive distribution rights to certain retailers, or at least letting them get a timed exclusive pre-order window.

It's very strange to NOT even see the standard game being offered on Best Buy's website!

I think it also has a lot to do with the companies themselves, for the Canadian Best Buy webpage has Inquisition listed.  It might be just taking sometime because it was just announced yesterday.

I find the pre-order items are normally closer to what you find in game when the game launches just with an exclusive look, but the difference is what is released in later DLC, such as the DLC weapon packs for Dragon Age 2.  Now of course at times they do have exclusive bonuses, but with the experience ring you could get from Dragon Age: Origins wasn't that much of a help compared to other items after you found them.

I pre-ordered the deluxe addition on my way home from work on Tuesday.  The nice thing about Gamestop is that I can put a little money down at a time and not have the whole amount come out at one time.  I am just wondering about the Uber edition.  If it is like a season pass that comes with it or something like that I might upgrade otherwise I will probably stay with the deluxe.

Best Buy stores allow the same thing, I think.

Ages ago Mike suggested they could do multiple levels of special editions, something like a USD 100 tier, a USD 200-500 tier for the uber edition, and then something crazy like a few thousand for a super exclusive rare edition.

This was years ago in a collectors edition feedback thread, so plans have probably changed - but don't be surprised if there's more than one special edition on offer.

I'd do $200.

$500, it'd really need to have something worthwhile in it.

I'm pre-ordering this bad boy for the 360 anyways. I'm going to wait and see what store has the best bonus, then I'm laying my money down!

I just pre-ordered the deluxe edition thru Origin, who says it can be canceled at any time. If the uber edition has anything that sparks my interest, I'll change to that. Win, win.

If Game.co.uk won't sell me a physical Deluxe Edition for PC then I'll just order it from Gamestop in the states. I've done it before and probably will do so again... Mass Effect 2 was the last time. Allowing for exchange rates I can order it and have it shipped to the UK for less than the price of the Standard Version... even if I pay VAT it still works out cheaper than the Digital Deluxe...

Zavvi.com is taking pre-orders for the Xbox One version (http://www.zavvi.com...n/10817172.html) and the PS4 version (http://www.zavvi.com...n/10817173.html) for £48.99, and a 10% discount is available if you use the code '10OFFPO' at checkout, making the next-gen console (current, if you like) versions £44.10.
The Xbox 360 version (http://www.zavvi.com...n/10948616.html) can be pre-ordered for £44.98, as can the PS3 version (http://www.zavvi.com...n/10948615.html). No codes for these ones, unfortunately.
Strangely, the physical PC version (http://www.zavvi.com...n/10948615.html) is the most expensive of all, available to pre-order for £49.99.

Zavii ship from and to the UK, if I'm not mistaken, hence the pricing in pounds. I am unsure if they ship internationally.

Edit - I apologise for mis-reading the thread's title and OP. I will leave my post, however, as I think it may be of help to somebody after the standard edition.
