Now actually liking something purely because it has more males than females probably is sexism
*lol*
I'm actually suprized they did the 6/3 gender ratio.
Just from the POV of 'potential romancable' characters.
Just think, male-gamer picks up the game....sees that there are 6 male companions and only 3 female companions, thinks no big deal....."got my bro party! and some eye candy"...find out that you can romance characters (assuming they didn't already know)....thinks, "yeah! But WTH Bioware......giving special priviledge to female gamers, they have more options!" And then if not all three of those female companions are romanceable? Or they find out there's an option to play as a gay male???? Expect more of a storm....unless you can romance those 2 female NPCs.....then they will complain that you cant take them out with you (if that is in fact the case).
And unless they come to the boards they may never find out that the female and gay male gamers only get 1 of those 6 companions and the NPC Cullen as romance choices......compared to their ability to pick from Scribe Girl, Sera, Cassanda....*
*note: just hypothetical outline on my part.
