Sorry if this is being discussed already.

Like the title says, how obvious will be? I will be trying to keep my entire team alive and I assuming that will take some reloading. That it mind, will I know that so-and-so is going to die or is it going to surprise me and thus mean a -omg-i-hoped-i-saved-before-the-sequence.

Also, will all characters be equally threatened or is it going to always be the two squad mates?

I think that for squadmates it will be entirely a surprise, but for shepard if you try to start the suicide mission when you're not equipped enough for him/her to survive they'll give you a warning saying we're not prepared to go there yet, want to go anyways

It would be great if it comes from outta nowhere. Can you imagine the sense of forboding? Not knowing who will come back and who won't? I didn't like the way it was done on ME 1. It was almost forced since either way the nuke went off.



I want it to really feel like a suicide mission when I travel through the Omega 4 relay.
