Ouch, well, this Aussie definitely won't be ordering it from the Origin store. Not sure if the amount I'm seeing is in US$ or AU$ but either way it's a ripoff. $79.99 for the standard edition and $89.99 for the deluxe. If that's in US$, then that makes the prices in AU$ $85 and $96 respectively. Yeeeouch! (And even if you go the other way and say those Origin prices are in AU$, it's still bloody expensive compared to the US prices - US$75 and US$85 respectively.) I'm going to wait and find out who has the best deal for us Aussies and buy it from them.

Heck I would be happy if they made a version that you had to order from Bioware... Thats how I got my Black Chest copy of Assassins Creed 4 with the ship
You have a cat, don't you?
The standard edition is 59.99 USD. The Origin store seems to be showing you the price in AU$.Ouch, well, this Aussie definitely won't be ordering it from the Origin store. No deluxe preorder for PS4 yet? I could be internet stupid though. I'm holding out for whatever the Uber Edition is (this is a thing for real, right?), but it's hard not to jump the gun and buy one of these, haha. I literally went out and bought a next gen console today, just to prep for this.

So looking at the game in origins store, the system requirements are not showing up for me. Is anyone else having this issue?

Uber edition? Hopefully they'll not attempt to justify its price by including a statue of a dragon or something.

Just hope it is available from shopto.net
Like others, I'm wary of ordering from GAME after the ME3 fiasco.
I hope it has the same goodies as deluxe but is garnished with a beautiful box and physical goodies!

haha! That's what I see too. Kind of silly to promote this whole preorder and not have all the system requirements at least listed. I am hesistant to preorder without knowing this.

I miss ARGs, like for Bioshock 2 and Resistance 2. Still have my copy from Rapture Records.

That and in the case of the digital deluxe edition it says something along the lines of, "Digital extra content: to be announced."
Well, I'm waiting until it's announced.

I'm going to wait to see if the Uber edition has a season pass to the DLC, hopefully it will. I got the ultimate edition of DAO (with every DLC) for 20 USD right after DA2 came out but didn't get any of DA2's DLC aside from the Black Emporium.

It shows $59.99 on my screen (just checked now).
I was debating whether to buy an Xbox One, PS4 or PC for this game. After much research and back-and-forth debating, I have decided that investing in a gaming PC (for the right price) will be far more rewarding, especially considering the following:
- Again, for the right price (which isn't that much more than the current price of consoles), your PC will be much more powerful than an Xbox One or PS4
- Possibility of modding the game - thus providing an endless amount of replay compared to the consoles
- Can use a controller (if you prefer) to play the PC version (I don't remember if it was specifically an Xbox One/360, PS4/PS3 controller, or a combination of them all though)
- I imagine your PC doesn't have to be hugely bulky, so it can compare in size to a console.
- Easily upgrade-able years from now whereas consoles are not (you'd have to buy another "Slim" or "Elite")
I'm sure there are many more pros to PC gaming that I don't know about. :-)
I am still having this exact same debate (minus Xbone... yuck
).
I'm thinking ideally what I'd want to do is buy or build a PC to plug into my TV screen and play with a controller. My question is... exactly how bulky will a gaming PC like this be? Will it be roughly the same size an a PS3/4 or will it be significantly bulkier?
I'm just asking as someone who moves around a lot and is conscious of bulk! ![]()

So why advertise the pre-order items prior to having the uberversion details? I see a lot of cancellations in retailers' futures.

If the "Uber" edition contains a physical item, then I kinda hope it's different than a statue of the Inquisitor or something silly like a half-dressed Leliana singing a bards tale yesplease.
I would want a replica of the Table seen in the latest trailer (with the maps, parchments, books etc.) but just add a dagger/sword sticking out of it.

I'm waiting to pre-order until I find out what this "über edition" is. I'm secretly wishing for a big cloth map that I can set game pieces on to mark places I need to return to because I am a huge nerd and that would make me so happy. If it's just a statue or something like that, then I'll just get the deluxe edition.

There's a quote by Erasmus that says, "When I have a little money I buy books; and if I have any left I buy food and clothes." Looks like for some, the word 'books' should be replaced by 'games.' ![]()
