I am still having this exact same debate (minus Xbone... yuck :P ).

I'm thinking ideally what I'd want to do is buy or build a PC to plug into my TV screen and play with a controller. My question is... exactly how bulky will a gaming PC like this be? Will it be roughly the same size an a PS3/4 or will it be significantly bulkier?

I'm just asking as someone who moves around a lot and is conscious of bulk! :P

It really depends on the power you want from the computer and the case you pick.  I am in the process of building a PC that will fit into This case.

I would absolutely encourage building a PC as opposed to buying one pre-made. I imagine that the size of a custom built PC will be dependent on the parts you want it to consist of. As such, I believe that should minimize your concerns about bulk because you should have the ability to choose how big or small it is.

But, overall, I strongly recommend going custom. Essentially, you determine how much you're willing to spend and therefore decide how good your PC will be depending on your budget. Let's not forget that you can do without all the unnecessary features that come packaged in a pre-built PC. :-)

There's a quote by Erasmus that says, "When I have a little money I buy books; and if I have any left I buy food and clothes." Looks like for some, the word 'books' should be replaced by 'games.' :D

The original quote is actually accurate with me, so it's probably a very good thing I buy maybe three games a year.

It seems I won't be buying Arkham Knight and Shadows of Mordor

I know, right? I'll have to ignore those two games and Alien: Isolation, and Destiny. Oh well, hakuna matata! At least until the next tax refund!

given that case enough room to fit a 13.5 inch GPU, you can go to town... the new AMD R9 295 x2 would fit and be good... just as long as you can find a compatible PSU for it (the PSU is the hardest bit for card)

Right now I am looking at using the new GeForce 750 TI for they don't need an external power source and are powered from the PCI-E slot couple that with the smaller size and I think it would work well in that case.  My concern is really air flow through the case, but for $50 I think it might be a good experiment.

Here is a rough build I finished recently.  Link

The 750ti is a good card but it's midrange.

the 750ti isn't mid range... its entry level... its only saving grace really is the low wattage to performance - which is why its being used by Bitcoin miners

but then again thats only my opinion... im saving up for a 780ti or a r9 290x
given im playing on a 6970

DAI has Mantle support so you might want to get the R9 290.

except that mantle doesn't directly effect the GPU... it helps the CPU and my CPU isn't the bottleneck

Oh good, less money I can put towards food.

Normally, I would say "Big Fat No" to pre-orders, BUT:

1) evil Unicorn mount.

2) 2x airline miles.

So.

You know.

Are they not offering it on Amazon for PC? I have Amazon credit and would love to use that instead. Do I have to buy it off the Origin store for PC?

Just out of curiosity, how would you rank the Nvidia Geforce gtx 770?

So far, no, the PC version is not on Amazon. I'm still holding out on the pre-order to see what the Uber Edition entails.

I have a question, Does the collector edition contain anything else except those weapons and armors? Because when I took a look at the origin website it said:
"Digital bonuscontent yet to be revealed.(it doesn't really say that, but that's because it shows up in a different language for me.) Does that mean more content will be revealed?

I'm pretty curious about the uber collection. Will only buy it if it contains a mission or some sort.

Dragon statue is a no-brainer for Dragon Age game!

Man, Origin pricing is pretty lame. On origin I can get it for 59€, whereas physical copy I can get for only 39€......

An Uber edition!

Well I will keep my current deluxe pre-orders, however this already sounds enticing!  Although if its just a cheap plastic statue I will likely pass.

That's the standard edition, the deluxe edition is 69€ which in my opinion is very expensive for only a couple weapons and mounts. I will wait until they reveal what is the mysterious "additional digital content" and see if it is worth spending an extra 10€.
