I have a tendency to pick up guides because I play so very few games I may as well have more stuff for those that I do; I used to get post in Final Fantasy, etc. strategy guides in my youth so it's kind of a trend of mine.
I've had some bad times with Prima though, but they've gotten better. Would have preferred someone like Piggyback handled BioWare... ah well.
Deluxe Edition IS the Collector's Edition. However...

What I'm hoping for is an Xbox 1 pre-order with the goodies of the Origin Delux. (And that eventually you'll be able to play 360 games on 1. Not likely, I know)

if you mean a pre-order bonus that give the digtal content of the Deluxe edition free with the standard or a free upgrade to the Deluxe edition for the Xbox One, that is not happening. The Pre order bonuses for the game this time are the Flame mount, flame armor and the flames of the Inquistion arsenal pack. Each one is a seprate bonus and the Deluxe allows you to get them all together.

If you wait six month to a year after release you will get those super duper packages sooo much cheaper.

Depends on if the edition is still easy to find six months to a year from now and if they are getting a phyical or digital copy. Also the price is becuase you are paying to be able to play it on or near release day. the demand is higher at that time and so they charge more. You also don't have to worry about everyone and their friend already knowing what is going to happen and spoiling everything.
