The day before I'll probably be hearing about all the goodies in the game by people who cracked open the game files before the game was unlocked for play like they did for DAII.

I'll probably try to get home early from college on that day, and pick up my copy. Then, I'll probably stop being productive in school for two weeks. After that, as usual, I'll be back to normal.

Just went to my local game store to put in my pre-order, and they say that if they get 150 pre-orders they'll have a midnight release party after all!!!

 

So, uh, if you happen to live in Melbourne and are within partying distance of EB Games Chadstone and want a physical copy of the game ... anyone want to join me on the evening of October 8th? Apparently they can get the food court to stay open if they promise hungry, over-excited gamers.

I'm supposed to go goat hunting in early October. Or build a house. The 7th is really not an auspicious release date. I wish it was September...I may have to re-schedule the goat hunt. If I'm not building a house. My fall is so complicated...

I hope the digital editions from origin could be downloaded 1 or 2 days before release, I guess I'll spend 2 or 3 days downloading the game.

I'll be getting up whenever the hell I feel like, since I'll have the day (and the next two weeks or so) off, make coffee, light a cigarette and let Origin do its thing. Then I'll play a bunch of DA:I, take a break for food and a run, then play more DA:I. Repeat 14 times.

I may get 'sick' that night but come the weekend it will just be me, my PS4, DAI, and Dr Pepper. Food optional. My brother may see me when I come out to get a refill but I don't plan on moving from my chair.

As I'm in the UK it'll be heading to me on a Friday. Post doesn't normally show up until around midday though so I'm not sure if I'd take the day off for it.. Maybe a half day off. 

Then my weekend of reclusive gaming will begin. Just me, my PS4, some snacks and ALL THE DRAGON AGE. I've warned friends and family not to bother trying to contact me.

Ah, although the Share features on PS4 does mean that some of it will be documented onto my Twitter feed. Possibly lose some followers in the process

The beer distributor down the street sells three of the Variety packs together as a 24-case. The honors of "beer I'm drinking when epic start screen music plays" will be Three Philosophers.
