I've never really talked to Jacob before, so I don't know too much about his dialogue. But Shepard decided to talk with him just now and all the sudden she is getting awfully flirty with the guy. I made sure to avoid any and all paragon responses, yet Shepard is wiggling her butt like she has the hots for the dude. I thought they got rid of that ninja-mance stuff after ME1.
Nah, it's just that FemShep enters slutty mode automatically when around Jacob.

It's why I never talk to Jacob as a femshep. It just seems so wrong because I'm either continuing my ME1 romance or (planning to) romance someone else.
That's just auto-flirting. I don't like it either, but I don't think it'll actually lock Shepard into a romance with him. After my ME1 ninjamance troubles though, I didn't trust it and avoided speaking to him with FemShep.

Well, I have joked about the game "assuming direct control" of FemShep during her conversations with Jacob. Maybe it is indoctrination.

I play on Casual most of the time, so no one really had trouble staying alive for me. Usually, I just choose squadmates based on who my Shepard trusts most, and my FemSheps can't/don't even talk to him. He was in the squad until I did enough recruitment missions, and then in a few experiment playthroughs of the suicide mission.

I usually play on casual or normal myself, but even then Jacob seemed to die an awful lot. Getting a squadmate (Zaeed) who could use an assault rifle and concussive shot right away seemed like a much better option.
